>>102It's still under development (we don't even know if it's gonna be a soccer tourney atm)
cross posting from the other thread:
First and foremost, I feel we need to be a tad more organized:
1.Brainstorm a bunch of sports titles that have a lot of customization options.
2.Propose to various boards such sports, in an aptly made poll.
3.Once the sport has been decided, we'll choose both the format of the competition and the way we're going to integrate boards - as in, whether they should play solo or organize in small groups.
4.With that out of the way, we'll proceed with dolling up the /icup/ board. You know, stuff like banners related to the competition, team logos, uniforms, faces etc.
5.Polls should be then issued to each of the participating boards, requesting:
a) A list of eligible players;
b) One among various coaches (I think we'd best have two main ones and a sub).
6.With that out of the way, one or more of us should install all the junk related to both running and streaming the events. To avoid the possibility of rigging, a check on the players' skill sets should be done live prior to the matches.
7.That being said, we also need a committee dedicated to both organizing things with the coaches/hosts and to act as "referees" mid stream, to make sure that the correct results are registered and no one attempts to pull any funny stuff.
