>game where you start out in a typical sci fi engineering/spaceship type base, lots of things to look at and do like crew quarters, hospital, research lab, weapons training area, storage facility etc., very cold slightly off Starship Troopers atmosphere to it all. But then the lights go off and you're completely in the dark, that's the only scripted part. The rest of the game is complete darkness, find your way through the maze. Occasional relief in a lit staircase/walkway (save points). You navigate via screams and echoes and using a small light source. Hand crank torches, batteries, all of these type of items are valuable. You have to feed yourself and go for a shit/piss too. Smells of recently dead people attract insects/roaches for extra disturbing creep factor when things move in the light you shine. Just escape the facility, that's the goal on the mission label on the top right of the screen. Combat, guns, knives, light petrol, make diy flamethrower from aerosol and lighter, etc. Scary like dead space except not scripted, AI walks around and responds to sound and light like zombies. Occasionally meet sane rational NPC who helps for a while then gives up and gets depressed. Gloomy helpless atmosphere.
Oh fuck this is like a psychiatrist thread where you reveal how we think the world is.
>Trading card game like pokemon, except everyone's gone crazy and this is the actual basis of trade in the game world, not work/money, you get better at the monster fighting card game and win a gf, house, anything you want eventually. Most people who trade cards in the game have gone back to owning slaves.
>game where god tells people in the community what to do and they always get into fights over who heard god's true words or who heard them first. Solve squabbles as the village elder or just try not to get your kids and family killed or harassed by crazy people. New game plus: you are god
>game where it's a natural disaster (tsunami usually and it floods everything), floating cars and crazy shit like that, just have to help NPCs ad hoc, AI is coded to be smart and self organizes stuff, priorities etc. like any disaster movie really, but finding a shelter and watching NPCs argue over who is the leader could be fun/comfy
>game where you air lift people to safety (rescue team simulator 2015), that's it, except dangers and you have to manouever the heli correctly, check cables are safe, tight, all of that, avg. mission takes about 15min of real life time, they get more difficult, you get a faster bigger heli each mission.
>game where you are a cop and have to deal with peoples' shit, stressful, can't do anything but calmly be the voice of reason and always do right. Occasionally get a criminal punchbag, feels good to let off some steam. Rinse & repeat with higher stakes = interesting gaming experience.
>multiplayer game where you build anything out of mechanical/engineering cubes, kinda like minecraft. But you have goals for each game session (~12 players) like build something that flies for a whole minute, or something that floats and stays above water to get you to the other side, etc. etc., instance based, no waiting in a lobby, fun and chill and not too vapid, griefers are blocked from the game, but no censoring the chat or voice chat. Mute anyone instantly and a vote system to auto mute and try to kick that person instantly (2 other votes needed). Game sessions are matched up via how many games you actually stayed for (bad losers play with bad losers).
