Trying to get some good self improvement books for myself. Can anyone recommend any?

I've got a copy of this. It's basically a health guide with a good helping of "muh singularity". It recommends certain dosages of supplements that aren't FDA recommended (yet).
What field were you interested in? Finance? Exercise? Relationships?

Speaking of literature, it'll probably do you some good to get into the habit of recreational writing. I used to free-write as a way to clear my mind, and it helps of course with developing style if you're not a professional writer.

I don't have an image, but a brilliant book I picked up at an antique store called The Royal Path of Life, has been a brilliant tool to guide me for the passed year. It was written about a hundred years ago, and many of the lessons in it are applicable today. Describes everything from the type of girl you should marry, to how to be successful with pluck rather than luck, to how to live a generally good life.
