That light turquoise or whatever is killing my eyes. I'd go with more neutral/natural colors, especially for background.

Okay I went for orange.

Any constructive criticism on this one? The "Anonymous", date time and post number section definitely needs to be a different colour, so if anyone has any ideas, feel free to share them.

Yeah, I know what you mean.

Right now the amount of CSS I know is pretty minimal, can't use background images or gradients for now. Going to get back to learning CSS again in summer and hopefully do something better.

Do you think I should stay with this or revert back to default?

I dunno, default is p kosher. I just said orange randomly.

It's starting to remind me custom them of a now defunct imageboard that I used to mod for. Anyway, burichan is just such a mainstay. Very easy on the eyes. The first try at orange with the rounded corners was pretty harsh on the eyes. this peach/tan thing you're going for is a bit easier.

I went with an orangey brownish colour to achieve that comfy feeling.

I think I'll give this a week, tweak some things while I'm at it and then revert it back to default after 7 days. I'll probably redo the CSS again in summer where hopefully I'll have more knowledge of colour theory and CSS to be able to make something good and that fits this board's theme of improvement.

Reverted it back to original. Comfy feeling really has no place on an improvement, next time I'll go with green, red or blue as those colours promote the theme of the board.
