Reason I ask is because there is no universal advice, something that would work for me, might not work for you and vice versa. That's why a lot of the advice on /adv/ may be considered useless, it's because it's general and not tailored to the person's situation. Not that I blame them, most people that go on /adv/ go there to look for advice, not give it.
So if I know more about your situation I could tailor the advice to suit you. Maybe it won't affect you as much as I'd like and you won't come out of it a changed man, but I'll give it a shot and maybe, just maybe, set you on the right path to getting shot done.
