I've noticed this about myself too.

I'm struggling to learn and remember new things.

Noticed a big difference in just 2 years or so, and I am only 25.

Working out seems to help, and I try to eat well, but doesn't seem to make enough difference.

Yes, so long as you're active during the day. I aim to get up relatively early (~8-9am) and immediately have a cold shower which sets my in stride for the rest of the day with almost no issues regarding motivation or concentration. I tried this out during exam period at uni and i haven't stopped. It's a well-maintained pattern that's the important bit, your body needs to become accustomed to it for maximum benefit.

I know those feels. As said before a thousand times, eat well, sleep well and exercise. Really, do. Depending on the cause of your problems it should help, possibly a lot. I still have periods when I feel like a dead vegetable too often but the aforementioned guidelines ensure that I won't jump off a cliff or something.

I've had trouble staying asleep later at night lately and I can feel the shit creeping up already. Case in point, sleep well.

If it feels like enough. It depends on the person and quality of sleep. 7 or so is ideal for me. Just don't stay up past your bedtime if possible, consistency is important.

All those things can be improved and strengthened through practice and discipline.

Except motivation. Fuck motivation. Motivation comes and goes and it's foolish to rely on it. Instead, rely on your discipline.
