Sup /improve/

I am tasked with transforming somewhere from 2-30 adolescents from lazy, selfish and apathetic to men of character and worth.

I want your input.

What should I teach/focus on?

What should they know?

What makes a grown man/woman?

Thoughts, Ideas, and Feedback please.

Teach them to savour the pain it takes to change one's self, and that self-sacrifice is a reward in itself.

But the main thing should be to instill some spirituality in them, something which will ignite the flame that will guide them long after you're gone from their lives and guard them from indolence and indulgence. I'm not sure how I'd do that either, it's probably beyond the scope of this board anyway.

Teach them resiliency, the ability to get back on your feet when life decides to knock you the fuck out.

Teach them how to create habits, so they won't have to rely on motivation and willpower and as a result always fail or burnout(Unless of course they know how to use willpower right which lets be honest, most people won't)

>Power of habits is a good book you should look into for this

Teach them meditation, so they'll be able to prevent burnout and stress.

Teach them to face their fears.

It's their life, the best you can do is lend a helping hand.
