Motivation dropping off is a given, relying on motivation for anything is a one way trip to inevitable defeat.
I have a good productivity system that I didn't put into play because I told myself there wasn't enough time for it to be as effective as just winging a lot of hours of work. The effective system relies on starting small and gradually increasing effort, but with only a month left I figured there was no time for that so I went with the old "I'll do 12 hours a day tomorrow and every day XD" convincing myself that maybe, if I incorporate meditation into the fold I'd be able to delay the inevitable burnout. What ended up happening is after studying a lot I'd be too lazy to pick up meditation and then I just went from burnout to burnout until eventual failure.
It sucks balls but I'm using the good system now since I don't have any exams or anything coming for a long while and I'm doing pretty good productivity wise and future is looking brighter and brighter.
