This is me, what are some tips?

 No.4063

What's your height and weight?

I'm sure you already knew this but your biggest goal right now is to lose weight. Do that and you will drastically look different.

On top of that I'd really recommend a new haircut, your current one looks shit, no offence. I'm not sure what you should go with, but maybe >>>/fa/ will help you in that regard.

I'm 180 cm and 100kg.

1. Style your hair, it looks unkempt

2. Eat better, Spinach is one of the best foods for healthy skin, even if you have to force yourself to eat it, it's worth it. Also, drink as much water as you can daily. Both of these will improve your skin hugely.

3. Exercise outside daily if you can, go for a run, cross-country walk or join a gym, don't focus on lifting just yet, just get into the habit of being active and getting fresh air, it will help you sleep too and sunlight helps skin

These are the 3 things i'd suggest to start you off

I'll ask if I can get accutane, I'm already on a lot of pills; for epilepsy, adhd, depression, hypothyroidism and headaches.

I'm getting contact lenses, should I get colored contact (green or blue) or only for better vision?

 No.4073

>>4069

Yes, but not too exaggerated, or you'll look like a hipster/normie cunt. Also, toning up would help you suit that particular style

On the topic of lifting, pullups are pretty much the only weightlifting worth doing if you are an unfit slob (no hard feelings). It teaches your body to loose weight because it's your own bodyweight that you are lifting up and down, and it actually uses muscles in the core and legs. This is also true of pushups. I would recommend doing pullups and pushups two/three days a week, in addition to the cardio. Squats and deadlifts, in addition to being more stressful on the body, don't really encourage you to lose weight and in fact probably encourage weight gain, because in those exercises you are using your own weight as a counter balance to the barbell.

Only when you have your diet and lifestyle down pat should you try to do more complicated weightlifting. Working out can potentially worsen acne, especially if you have a bad diet. And it can worsen your posture if you don't warmup, stretch, do proper form, etc

Wouldn't you rather figure out what is causing the acne rather than taking accutane, which is actually a chemo drug? Look at yourself in the mirror every day and track how bad the acne is. Maintain a strict diet and cut out things that could be causing it. This includes things like dairy, sleep, meat, etc.

 No.4076

>>4075

Although you might need accutane eventually, if you've determined your not allergic to anything.

Doctors are hasty to prescribe accutane and don't really bother to see if all the causes are ruled out.

It could be something as simple as not washing your face every day, not washing your hands after riding the train, not sleeping enough hours, etc.

I'm really tired and have no idea if this is a joke but whatever. You can be better looking okay, just lose the fat, fix your hair, clear your skin up, get fitter.

But as someone who has been extremely insecure his whole life and who still struggles with it I just want to tell you that do not obsess over your looks. Seriously. In the end there's not too much you can do about it. In your case the fat loss will do a difference though. Your personality and confidence matter a lot too, just to remind you.

 No.4082

You probably already know this, but if you're getting headaches all the time make sure you're drinking at least 5 pints of water a day. Just water. Soda and coffee aren't going to help.

Regarding your acne, as others have recommended you should do your best to clean up your diet. Some people have a problem with dairy that leads to acne, so you could experiment with eliminating that if you want. I believe that there is a link between intestinal bacteria and skin conditions in some people, you may want to try out probiotics if you find that other treatments aren't having an effect.

Make sure that you are being hygienic - wash your bed linen regularly, wear clean clothes each day, shower daily, don't touch your face excessively etc. You may want to try putting a clean towel over your pillow before you go to sleep and change it each night - people have had good results from this.

Don't squeeze your spots. If they come to a big white head and are inevitably going to burst, you can gently help them on their way - you shouldn't be applying lots of pressure though (that's how you get scars). If you notice that a spot has burst, wash the area immediately - this will help stop the bacteria spreading and causing other spots. I'd try and limit shaving whilst you try and treat your acne. You might not look so great, but cutting the spots open with a razor will only spread the infection.

To treat existing spots I would suggest using a face wash that contains benzoyl peroxide. You may want to start of mild as the ones with higher concentrations (10%) of BP can burn sensitive skin and you have a fair complexion so I'd start off weak if I were you. You can also use benzoyl peroxide creams/gels to apply to the affected areas. These are more concentrated than the face wash, so do a patch test to make sure it's not too strong. After you wash your face you should spread this thinly around the area affected by acne. I wouldn't suggest using the peroxide face wash as well as the peroxide creams/gels - one or the other should be enough.

benzoyl peroxide is usually very successful at keeping acne at bay. I don't know if you're able to get it over the counter where you live, but you can order the gels online. It shouldn't be too hard to get a doctor to prescribe it if you need a prescription. Depending on the cause of your acne benzoyl peroxide may only keep it at bay and not get rid of it. Other topical treatments include topical antibiotics and retinols, which are also very effective, but you will need a prescription for these. I would advise that you get a dermatolgist to prescribe these as the expertise of general practitioners varies greatly when it comes to skin conditions. You can take oral antibiotics to treat acne, but my personal experience with these hasn't been good.

Accutane is a last resort for when you've tried everything else. You will have to have you blood checked monthly whilst you're on the drug and it causes a lot of unpleasant side effects. If you're depressed you will probably not get it prescribed as a number of people have committed suicide whilst taking it (whether or not that was caused by the drug directly is not known). It's usually only given out for people with cycstic acne or chronic acne.

Ultimately, it all depends on what the cause of your acne is. It could be diet, it could be hormonal, it could be a skin infection that presents as acne, it could be caused by ingrown hairs or excessive sebum production. If you're still in your teens, it might be hormonal and you'll probably grow out of it, but you can still treat the symptoms whilst you have it.

Finally, I'm not a doctor, so talk to your doctor before taking any of the pharmaceutical treatments I've listed above. Good luck.

If you don't have any experience with drugs, psychs or any mind-altering substances you should maybe just give weed a try to ease into the idea of reflection, introspection and the importance of perspective. Obviously you don't need to take drugs for these things to happen, but they definitely will hit the accelerator pad on 'asking the question' if you know what I mean.

Anyway, Psychs:

I would recommend a low dose of mushrooms of 2.5-3 grams. Ideally you and a great friend can go through this together - I wouldn't recommend expanding the tripping group beyond 3 or 4 people, there's too much chance for suspicion and negativity. Plus, tangential thought works best with two people on the same page working through ideas. This would be referred to as the set.

Now for the setting: Plan to do them in an area you're familiar with; somewhere you feel safe. I'd recommend doing them in the SUMMER and at night. Being warm, comfortable, being able to see the stars, a good friend who you would feel comfortable crying in front of.

The first time I did them I took them at a friends house in my neighborhood (no chance of parents returning). The 4 of us walked the path we used to walk to our elementary school as kids. Tonnes of thoughts flooded our memory of those times, how precious they were, why we're here and why we are the way we are.

If you can't get a friend to trip with you, you may have to go it alone. And the key to this is to have a bit of a plan.

>walk trail, walk route around subdivision, park etc.

>lay down outside

>get food by 9pm

>walk back home

>when it starts to wear off smoke a j and you will get a boost

Idk, it's just important to have a bit of structure to rely back on if you feel like you're getting stuck in your head.

ANYWAY. Psych's are great, but I would say after you conquer the shroom trip. Try an mdma session with some close friends (not in a degenerate party-style boozefest way). But sit around, have a few drinks, drop m and talk about shit that matters. It will open you up emotionally.. and let's face it - you're here on 8ch and there's a good chance you may need some assistance with that. Once you get a view of how open and awesome you can be when you're seeing the best in people and how to mirror them you will pick up a few social tricks. With mdma (well other psychs too) when you reflect on harmful or anxious memories you basically 'repackage' these memories with a nice new positive wrapping, basically like taking a duck out of an oil spill and cleaning it off and putting it back in place.. Then next time you reflect on that, it's less painful - you become a bit more fit mentally that way as well.

CAREFUL. mdma is so good, you'll want to do it again and again. But it will actually fuck you up and make you dumb. It's seriously taxing on your brain chemistry and if you take another dose too soon (like 2-3 months after the last one) you are basically blasting your receptor sites out of an already - out of homeostasis state, making you worse. So careful.

Also after that. LSD. And you'll know what to do if you get there. The first two parts (shrooms and mdma) should take like 2 years. LSD is pretty useful for getting rid of bad physical habits and habits of thought. The best way I can describe it is like a type of mental floss, it gets in all those nooks and crannies with the dirt and plaque and lets you stop hoarding that shit in your mind.

Going into a psych experience with PURPOSE and wanting change is the key. With that mentality set: you've made it, everything in your life has already happened - the work has been done and the placebo effect of expecting change can be strong enough for things to actually change.

Psychedelics can, and have been used for self improvement for thousands of years.

Also >>4119, I enjoyed your post apart from where you say

"Conquering" A shroom trip is an absolutely terrible way to look at it. If you try to control a shroom trip rather than just letting what happens happen you are going to have a bad time, you could even say you have to "surrender" to it.

That IS their drug. They wake up everyday craving to learn more and perfect their craft and their mind. And when people cherry pick examples of great minds who have achieved great things who use drugs or while on drugs, they have done so DESPITE using drugs, not entirely because they used drugs.

>8chan improve board

Hey man, what are we? 8chan Coolies? who are you? you must be a swell guy with a huge social network. Not to say this isn't impossible, but I've noticed a definite thread of personality types of people who find refuge in these types of online communities. And to open with an ad hominem attack instead of addressing the content of the post directly proves that you're just closed off, resorting to hyperbole (pic related) and looking for a target to hit. - yur mad.

And if you read >>4119 you'll notice I open with saying, 'Obviously you don't need to take drugs for these things to happen'. - Yeah, you really, really do not need these experiences to get direction in life. But for someone who is and has been stuck for quite some time, it can be a necessary nudge into the right direction to get out of that rut - however fictitious and superficial the psychedelic experience is it can be a platform for you to make a change. Even if this is based on placebo effect and slight neurological changes it can give a new light to recurring problems, novelty into your everyday life, new found vigor for learning and self improvement.

Obviously you're thinking about pic related: degenerate scum who believe we should dismantle the establishment and 'just love one another'. I think these people and their culture is fucking awful as well; they take no accountability for their lives and unload all their responsibility and mental stress into delusional ideologies.

But what I'm purposing is a one-off experience with a prudent attitude towards to the details of the experience:

(before) - Being well-read on the substance and experience, pure and measured amounts of the substance, being of an age where your mind is developed enough, adjusting diet to ensure a better experience etc.

(after) - Activities to ground your experience: Meditation and counseling of a therapist and/or friends to reconcile what went through your mind.

But even with all these precautions, it shouldn't be your first option to improve yourself and your mind, not even close. It's just AN OPTION, one that HAS worked for people before.

Don't do keto, it's retarded for fat people trying to lose weight. It's used more for cutting to a low bodyfat percentage in Bodybuilding. What's most important is your caloric intake.

 No.4588

This might sound extreme or hard to do, but it's actually quite the opposite. Consider a low fat, hight carb vegan diet. You can litterally eat as much as you want without gaining any weight at all. You just have to pay attention to what you eat. I've been on it for about 8 months and I've lost so much weight. And it makes absolute sense, one gram of carbs: 4 calories. One gram of protein: 4 calories. One gram of fat: 9 calories! If you go vegan you will pretty much automatically eat more fruits and vegetables, aka FIBER! If you have lots of fiber combined with carbs and less fat, metabolizing all that food and fiber will burn most of the calories you consumed with it, and combined with the exercise you're doing you will definitely end up calories deficient without any hunger, and portion restriction. Eating more fruit and vegetables will just end up in having to metabolize more and getting you even more minerals and vitamins. LFHC vegan combinedwith exercise is pretty much the answer to efficiently and comfortably losing weight. And it'll really help clearing up your skin as well. However, you can also choose to go regular vegan and have occasional Oreos, or potato chips. Unless they are the staple of your diet, you will not gain weight. It's not recommended, but I stopped exercising and started eating lots of Oreos and vegan brownies and other shit food since I've reached my desired weight and in these last few months, I haven't gained a single pound. I don't know what it is, but eliminating animal products just doest allow you to gain weight or something. At least it makes it very hard to. And don't worry about getting vegan deficiencies. Every amino acid that the human body needs is found in plants and pretty much all non dairy milks are fortified with vitamin b12, calcium and vitamin D. So if you make soy milkshakes which are delicious, you don't have to worry about any of that. Look up vegan YouTubers such as Freelee The Banana Girl and Happy Healthy Vegan. Freelee can be pretty extremist vegan, but she's skinny as fuck and eats more than a fucking horse. You'll see that if you get into the vegan YouTube world that you can pretty much replace all non vegan treats with vegan versions. Good luck, bro.

 No.4910

>>4481

It's true that calorie intake is the most important thing. However if you do a low carb diet you will almost certainly eat less calories than you would otherwise (assuming you're not, like, guzzling glasses of melted butter). That, plus, if you are eating a low carb diet you will probably be eating more protein than you would otherwise so you will maintain muscle mass.

So for some people cutting out carbs can be an easy shorthand method of reducing calories. Just make sure to include lots of leafy greens. Basically salads topped with lots of meat. And throw in a cheat day where you eat what you want once a week, that will make the diet bearable and also help to prevent your metabolism from slowing down.

 No.4911

>>4910

Intermittent fasting can also help. There are a few ways to do it, one common way is to restrict your eating to an 8 hour window, preferably starting in the afternoon. For example start eating at 1 p.m. and stop at 9 p.m. Drink coffee in the morning as that helps to reduce appetite. A little fat while fasting is okay, i.e. cream in your coffee. And zero calorie drinks are okay too.

 No.4912

>>4588

Any type of restrictive diet will likely lead to weight loss. Simply because you have less potential calorie sources, and also because eating the same things gets boring so you will naturally start eating less eventually. Raw vegans are skinny but most of them don't have a lot of muscle mass which is why I think a restrictive diet which is higher in protein is better. Durianrider looks like a skeleton, apparently he started roiding to make up for his deficient diet.

>It teaches your body to loose weight because it's your own bodyweight that you are lifting up and down

eh

no

Looking good man, you wouldn't look out of place at all in a group of guys at the pub or whatever. Work on maintaining your appearance (losing weight will help build confidence and willpower but isn't necessary, plenty of socially integrated people are big), and building on your social life. This will lead naturally to improved body language that won't look forced.

Lose weight, contacts. Trim the hair down at the sides, keep it longer on top. Consider growing a Van Dyke.

There's hope for you yet. I'd start with push-ups.

Oh, wait, you've already done half of that. Keep ploughing through with the exercise. You'll find that once you get in the 32 / 30 inch waistline zone, that's where all the weight will drop from your face. Definitely think about the Van Dyke, facial hair is more ginger-friendly.

But yeah, get the weight off & you'll just be fighting your mental hangups. Woahhh, we're half-way there…

¿Eres Espinete, del foro El Cruce?

Do three days a week upper body (push-ups, pullups, chinups, dips) and three days a week run, situps, squats. That's more than enough

Be careful with shrooms if you have depression or other mental health issues.

If you take higher doses the trip itself will usually go fine but the comedown is where you might start having extremely negative thought loops. Take in mind that you can't just go to sleep on shrooms and you might be stuck with 6 hours of horrible dread and sadness followed by a week or two of being stuck in not-quite-reality churning over your depression. Depersonalization and existential angst are NOT fun.

I recommend only taking proper doses of shrooms if you're genuinely not harboring some mental issues at the time.

You can take smaller to medium doses if you're provided with a lot of input though. You'll hardly be having much of an introspective depression spiral if you're at a concert/party for example and constantly distracted. Physical activity like dancing helps a lot with the comedown. If you then walk home in the fresh morning air you'll feel great and dandy.

What I personally recommend for people with depression is taking microdoses of shrooms.

You're basically just taking 0.1-0.5g of shrooms periodically.

You will have a noticeably uplifted albeit slightly weird mood. I did this after getting treatment for my depression at a hospital for over 2 months and being severely disappointed with the facility and "help" I got.

I helped me greatly get my life back on track and running errands is a lot more fun if you're in that headspace.

Always do you own research! I can't stress this enough. Look everything up on erowid, read user experiences, read articles etc.

And keep in mind that there are different species of mushrooms. They all vary in their psilocybin and psilocin contents.

All that being said I genuinely think every person on this planet should do at least one mushroom trip in their life. It can be a very emotionally intense experience and you'll get a very real understanding of how fragile your mind is.

If you take high doses you'll be confined to your bed and solving abstract puzzles in your head and having the feeling of epiphany every time you do interspersed with moments of clarity in which you'll be able to reflect upon the situation for a short time before losing your ego again and returning to your mind being focused on anything but conscious thought.

I think there is a survey showing that most people who have taken shrooms think that the experience had a lasting and positive effect on their life.

We mostly get Psilocybe semilanceata here and they'll throw you into a hole at 3 grams.

Second micro-dosing shrooms for people who can handle psychedelics.
