I have a week off work and want to sort of start fresh and feel better then when I left.

I got a gym membership and am working on my car but other then that I have no plans and 9 beers.

I don't know if I want too quit drinking but I'm going to slow down.

You could spend it reading books on improvement, and set up a plan, integrating the things you've read in those books into your daily routine.

Also, I'd meditation into your daily routine. There's a meditation thread with a basic guide on it on what to do. Helps with willpower among other things and it'll probably help you with the good feels.

Bring the beer out of your view. If you don't see it you will be less tempted. If you want to drink it then make a rule and stick to it. Only one beer after 8 and only if you have completed all of your tasks of this day.

Maybe you could also improve your diet.

Go to the gym every day even if you are not in the mood today. After 15min you are in the mood.
