What's your daily routine like, guys? Do you follow any set guideline of activities?

I exercise for one hour, practice something for one hour, and study something for one hour, and make sure I have a healthy meal prepared before 7.

My day usually looks like this:

3 AM - Get up, log my dreams in my notebook (going for lucidity!) and take a cold shower. Then I stretch and get ready to ift, and kind of think about my day. Usually to wake up I play starcraft 2 or read and listen to an album I haven't heard before.

5:30am - This is when I lift. It's the only time my gym in town is open.

7:30am Practice keyboard (would be piano if I had room/ money)

8:30am Study my LINUX book, I'm trying to understand /tech/, lol.

Then I start my day. I work from 10-4, once I'm off I take a 20 minute nap and a warm cozy shower, and cook. Then I get ready to do it again the next day..

Do you guys do anything similar? I know that writing out my routine in detail really helps me, and getting it all done first thing in the morning gives me a huge boost to the rest of the day (I also find if I don't do it immediately upon waking, it gets pushed off far too often). Admittedly, every day does not look like this, I usually aim to take only saturdays off, but more often then not there are a few days a week where I'm sleeping in.. I'm trying to improve too :)

Usually in my free time after work I just piss my time away browsing the chans. I don't want to go psychotic from forcing myself to be productive 24/7, and I don't feel so bad for browsing after kicking butt (as far as productivity goes early) that day.

I did it last year during college but I felt like a robot the whole year. But it shapes some routine which is good and if you don't follow your routine you'll feel something is missing.

Otherwise, what temperature do you take your cold showers? All the way down or lukewarm? For how long? How long do you sleep?

Are you jewish? Otherwise try to make them half productive days. No reason to not be productive tbh.

Wake up, jack off (i am trying to quit this), get up, drink water, make coffee, stretch, play on my phone for a bit (read pol, news, plan day with rewire, anydo, txt friends), exercise when i feel hydrated (currently just stretches and push ups, I'm typhoid skinny), sometimes go out to get anything from shops, make food, shower (very hot then very cold. I prefer all-cold but get terrible itching skin sensation after drying off), get ready for work, drink green tea, walk to work, work, walk home or sometimes jog home, eat, relax (cartoons, play on phone, read, jack to porn), sleep.p

I am far from happy with my current routine. I want to use more time for self education (learning language and work related study), more varied exercise, considerably reduce jacking, quit porn entirely, maintain better hydration throughout the day, eat more and better, become more disciplined with routines, reduce unproductive phone screen time…

My weekdays are super routine. The weekends not so much. So weekend days are usually less productive than the weekdays.

Weekday:

Wake up around 6:30

Smoke pot

Lift weights (light and low rep, just to get the heartbeat up)

Take a shower

Brush teeth

Comb hair

Deodorant + cologne

Get dressed

Pack bag

Go to work around 7:15

Workday:

Stairs, no elevator

Unpack bag, put away lunch

Make green tea and coffee

Take morning meds

Check work calendar

Check personal calendar

Check work email

Check personal email

Check work tickets

Catch up on projects

Weekly:

Trim beard

Shave edges of beard

Trim fingernails

Manscape

Pluck ear hair

Pluck eyebrows

At some point during the day, often on break at work or when I get home at night:

Study Japanese anki deck

Work in 3D (Blender at the moment)

Meditation

Yoga

Personal reading or audio books
