 No.4656

so I'm not very good at art but I wanna be better

so I decided to spend a hour drawing every day at the same time to get more practice and artwork done

stopped after only two days or so

how does one create, and keep to a good habit?

how do I properly go about forcing myself to do things?

Here's a method:

Get (or draw, since you're an artist) a monthly calendar. Every day you succeed in doing the thing you want to do, put a big red X in the day. Your aim is to make the longest run of Xs you can.

Don't beat yourself up if you miss one, just start again the next day. But do restart it (this is the hardest part for me).

Maybe give yourself a reward for no missed days, or a punishment for not enough X days.

Worth a try anyway.
