hey /indon/ how many of you noticed that our news channels likes to use music from video game OSTs,
i talked to my friends about this, they never seem to notice, and thinks i'm just imagining things.

swear to god i've seen news about densus 88 capturing terorist while the theme from Counter Strike 1.6 is playing in the background.
i also remember skyrim's OST (the song is called "far horizons", if i recall) being played in a video about places to travel to.
i dont remember what it was about but i remember harvest moon's (from the PS1) OST being used in a show once.

tell me that i'm not going crazy and that theres a gamer amongst one of the TV channel's editors thats putting those OSTs in there.
also, wouldn't that be illegal?, i'm not sure.

but one thing i remember that trans tv used star wars theme song as a background music when they aired jkt48 selection i dont know what kind of selection but i think it's called senbatsu or another japanese word, i dont know

It has been donce since like 2003. The first stolen tune I heard was RCTI sports using Xenogears and Chrono Trigger's OSTs.

I stopped watching television in 2013 so I can't confirm for more.

i dont know if you guys think this is good or bad.

yeah man, I even heard persona 3 and 4 OST being played in some morning show at I forgot channel
