Thanks to technological superiority and support from locals and freed slaves, the BL drives Somalian Empire out of northern Egypt. However, the Somalis utilize scorched earth and guerilla tactics. Advancing further into the Empire will be difficult and costly for the BL. The anti-Jihadi nations should ask Australia or others for help in invading Somalia.

Meanwhile, Kurds and Iraqi rebels are gaining the upper hand against ISIS. Tensions also get worse in India as minor muslim uprisings break out and Maratha considers full scale war against Kabulistan

Sweden-Finland sends an expedition from their small amount of west coast clay to NW Africa, colonizing a couple tiny islands and some clay.

The war against Somalia and ISIS continues, Australia refuses to intervene. The Brotherhood and The Railroad expands their territory in central Asia, but neither know where the Institute is yet. Tensions rise between the three factions.

Maratha brutally beats down muslim uprisings and begins invading Kabulistan. Considering the Conferedacy's superior numbers, victory seems almost certain

A lone wander joins the Brother Hood of Steel. With the lone wanders god like abilities. They massacre the underground railroad leaving piles of dead bodies and stealing everything they knew about the Institute.

The Institute murders the Lone Wanderer and replaces him/her with a synth. The synth manages to cause a lot of damage before it's take down by the Brotherhood, weakening them.

The Somalian Empire reclaims some Egyptian territory, but ISIS is being overrun. They resort to using many terrorist attacks but it only serves to delay the inevitable. Maratha continues to advance into Kabulistan.

To compensate their losses, full economic mobilization will become necessary by the next winter, but for now manpower and supplies are plentyful.

The Royal Army's three Aragonese divisions (1 armoured, 1 mechanized and 1 infantry) immediately leave the frontline and head south. In panic, Occitania begins peace negotiations, hoping to at least allow the expeditionary South German forces to return home.

Further north, peace also seems possible, as English forces restrict the insurgency to the Welsh desert and the Scottish Highlands. The pro-peace faction gains clout in the Celtic government, and a plan is already being brokered between America, England and the Celtic Union, defining the peace terms as:

Many in Ireland and England see this pact as treason and lost opportunities, but there is a significant chance of sucessful negotiations.

In the main front, Lotharingia expands their position to the east, but loses the Franche-Comté.

As Corsica has barely enough troops to defend their home, they sell the Balearic Islands to Aragon. They now request a trade with Lotharingia and England, Corsica is willing to give Sardinia, Sicily and Malta in exchange for some continental French clay.

Trump greenlights Kabulistan to do whatever it wants with its' assigned sphere of influence, as long as American oil companies can operate safely. Taraki immediately installs too People's Republics:

The Americans also sucessfully broker a peace deal in the British Isles. English troops retreat from the frontline (thus allowing Coalition gains, and angering Lotharingia), the English navy lifts the blockade of Ireland and ceases operations in the North Sea (removing the Entente's naval superiority), American peacekeepers man the border in the Glen Mor, both parties renounce claims to each others' territory and American financial aid arrives to repair the damaged areas. A huge chunk of the popular opinion in both countries, however, favors a return to war.

The new supply route for Paris through Normandy relieves the starved city and emboldens the Parisians to advance widely against the Vendée. The Entente resorts to bombing roads to the city, destroying humanitarian convoys.

Meanwhile, the Entente imposes humiliating peace conditions on the beleaguered and betrayed Occitanians. Over half of their nation is annexed, large reparations (including giving up 90% of their ships and large amounts of tanks and ammunition, with the remaining army restricted to 3 divisions) imposed, union with Aragon banned, and the independence of Corsica accepted. Occitania's only diplomatic victory was allowing the South Germans to ship their expeditionary force back.

Many ex-soldiers in Occitania disregard the prohibition and leave for the Maghreb to fight for their brothers. However, the white settlers- about 15% of the colony's population- begin feuding amongst themselves over wheter to declare independence, remain with Aragon or join Occitania. Amongst the chaos, anti-colonial forces advance and nearly capture all of Tunisia.

Aragonese diplomats, seeing the imminent collapse of white Maghreb, now seek the aid of both Castille and the Bergen Pact, but besides Portugal, none of the Scandinavian powers or the Cape Federation wants to aid them directly to prevent a war with the anti-colonials.

Another consequence of the peace deal is the imminent reorganization of the Entente's forces for another large offensive. The Coalition must exploit their small window of advantage to strike a decisive victory in the Benelux.

The Tibesti Sultanate carefully moves against local Somali warlords around Lake Chad.

Balkanatolian forces bolster Syria's weak army but fail to reduce the loyalist and ISIS insurgencies.

Groups of tribes, rebels, minorities and nomads from various states unite under the leadership of strategic genius Nariin Khan to ensure the protection of the rights of nomadic peoples and a high standard of living, carrying out destructive invasions all around to ensure that in addition to setting up extensive trade with the Portuguese. Although the main resources, military and many other aspects of the newly independent state come from the Kingdom of Yübul Tsai and from the Horde, it is regardless an independent state with its own regional khans and tribal governments. Although the cultural identity is not one that's united, there are no internal conflicts because true equality and freedom in all fields exists within its borders.

A month-long truce is agreed in the European war to quell the newly arrived nomads. Everywhere in Europe and Anatolia, nomads are crushed mercilessly, with the exception of a small strip of coastal Spain, traditional populations spared in South Germany, and the Balkans, where the Hungarian monarchies collapsed. Smaller losses also occur through Asia. The only power indifferent to the nomads is Cyberia, who sees them as a useful buffer between the Brotherhood and the Horde and has the technology to defeat them in open battle. Nariin Khan crushes the Brotherhood's weak hold on Xinjiang, makes peace with the Marathas, Portugal and the Manila Pact and focuses his forces on the Caucasus, preparing for a huge offensive that could reach as far as Moscow…

Meanwhile, the Portuguese, the Horde, Japan and Korea attempt to destroy the Love Net, but all personnel involved in the operations are assimilated by the Net. The only ones who can do anything are the Cyberians, who flatten the affected mainland areas and resettle them, while leaving the islands untouched. Cyberian diplomats now attempt to vassalize the Love Net and use it as a series of lucrative tourist outposts and naval bases.

The Maratha Confederacy conquers Khaganate lands to the north, cutting them off from their eastern regions. Indian soldiers proceed to defecate all over former Khaganate streets.

China eliminates all hostile nomads withing their territory.

Serbia expands.

Balkanatolia and the Net expand, and a revolution in Sinai founds a new cunt.

The Japanese Empire is next in organizing their Arabian territories. A prominent prince converts to Islam, marries a major aristocrat's daughter and forms his court in Aden.

Seeing a unique opportunity to take or at least threaten the Suez, Balkanatolia invades the Sinai. At the same time, Australia and Syria rush to recover Syria's territory, with both sides clashing and Balkanatolia escalating the situation by attacking Syrian Egypt from the west, taking the Suez. Australia then calls on the rest of the Manila Pact to help. Trump moves the American army to the Arabian border and the situation will degrade to a global war (possibly nuclear, as both sides have a large number of nukes) if a diplomatic solution isn't reached.

The Pharaoh's majestic pyramid is lost in the fighting, but Sinai's entire leadership and army sucessfully retreat to an intricate underground bunker system loaded with weapons and supplies, preparing to retake their territory as soon as possible. The Pharaoh follows a tunnel to Mount Sinai, where a plane picks him up and takes him to Marx City, from where he'll use his vast wealth to finance anticolonial movements in Africa.

The Australian parliament is debating wheter or not to pour money into Somalia to turn it into a civilized area. Other alternatives are giving it to Ethiopia or setting up a puppet government.

ISIS and Loyalist Syrians spread their insurgencies, undefeated by conventional military forces.

Balkan nomads continue their rampage, colonizing Slovakia, destroying Wallachia , reducing Moldavia to a tribute-paying march and invading Serbia.

Nariin Khan's offensive into Slavia/PSR is a sucess and Moscow is almost reached, with cities on his way pillaged and entire regions depopulated. The PSR responds by allying with the Brotherhood (who takes Xinjiang) and completely mobilizing the population in a last-ditch battle for the Motherland. Thousands of conscripts rush to militia divisions, armed with nothing but old AKs and fanatical willpower.

Flanked by the nomad threat, the Commonwealth's Emperor calls the aristocrats, the few politicians in the central government and the prime ministers of the three countries for an emergency meeting in Vilna. They agree to give him emergency powers and mobilize the army for an imminent invasion in the Caucasus.

Japan sends a spy team to steal a Cyberian mech project that could potentially allow the liberation of Love Net-held lands.

Portugal evacuates Ceylon and blockades it with full support from the Scandinavian navies, containing its' spread in the Indian ocean.

Mongolian nomads invade the Horde. They also attempt to enter Alien territory but suffer devastating losses.

Occitania and Aragon are close to an agreement over how to best defend white interests in the Maghreb.

Vendée sends 4 infantry divisions to encircle Paris and the rest of their army, together with Lotharingia's southern forces (leaving only 3 entente divisions to secure the south) and a Corsican division to the northeastern front, where the Franche-Comté is almost encircled and the Benelux area is stabilized.

Fidel Castro steals alien technology and uses it to move Cuba to Europe

Cyberia uses nukes, a brand new aircraft carrier and superior technology to devastate the Love Net, clearing their land territories and sinking their sea presence, with the exception of three artifical islands now used as bases. There are rumours of some last remnants of the Love Net's members and technology being taken to a secret base network near the Artic Ocean.

The Balkanatolia-Manila Pact conflict escalates into open battle. American tanks succeed in the inner Arabian desert, but an entire division is encircled in the Hejaz and the Australian-Syrian force in the Sinai is pushed to the peninsula's very tip. Diplomats rush to the Middle East and peace negotiations begin, hopefully preventing the war from going nuclear.

Damascus is surrounded as the Loyalist Syrians defeat the Balkanatolians and the puppet Syrian government.

Somalian warlords and the Tibesti sultanate begin a back-and-forth struggle for lower Chad, bleeding the sultanate's scarce resources.

The nomad advance reaches Moscow. The city is brutally pillaged and the Kremlin set alight. The PSR's extensive bureaucracy only survives by retreating to Arkhangelsk. However, the Khan soon sees himself outsmarted as Kurdish, Balkanatolian, Commonwealth and Brotherhood forces conquer his undefended Caucasian territories, leaving his nomad forces alone in ravaged lands.

On the other hand, his Balkan brothers are in a better standing, invading Serbia.

Salem ben Ra receives communist delegates from the entire world in Marx City, where he proudly declares the formation of ALPACA- Alliance for the Liberation of the Peoples of Africa from Colonialism and Agression. Many communist parties join, including the ruling parties of Cuba, Soviet Spain, Caliphornia, Central Africa and Maghreb. The French Worker's and Peasant's Party, ruling in Paris, and Kurdistan's PKK join as a observers. They agree to the following objectives:

Balkanatolian diplomats approach ALPACA for a possible counterweight against the Manila Pact, while Scandinavian governments react by denouncing the pact and repeating the threat of nuclear retaliation if a war ever began.

Trump rebases an aircraft carrier to Brest and plans and invasion of Cuba.

The Japanese spy team loses contact with Tokyo.

Vendée's infantry divisions tighten the encirclement of Paris, closing the English supply route. During their offensive, several skirmishes with England's border guards (many of which were fighting together with the Vendée before the American peace deal) occur.

Lotharingian divisions attempt to encircle Alsace-Lorraine, failing to do so as the Prussians retreat from the region and compensate their loss with minor captures in Flanders. The Coalition, however, is losing their advantage as the Lotharingian air force gains partial air superiority, making an air supply of Paris difficult.

While Russia is distracted and in shambles, Sweden-Finland sneakily annexes a couple of Siberian islands they claim is rightfuly theirs

Cuba invades Galicia to pressure Portugal to leave Africa

Cuban spies find the American plans for the invasion of Cuba, and they realise they don't stand a chance. In an act of desperation, Fidel Castro tries to use the alien technology again to move Cuba down to Africa. His scientists fuck up however which results in Cuba being torn asunder in a cataclysmic event

Castro dies instantly in the blast and the rest of the Cuban population are reduced to scattered tribes

The Eastern Crisis fires up as the Commonwealth rejects Slavia's ultimatum. Slavic armour quickly rips apart Commonwealth lines and reaches the Azov Sea, cutting most of the Commonwealth's armed forces in the Caucasus. The Commonwealth then resorts to their alliance with Sweden, who mobilizes their small army and calls on the rest of the Bergen Pact to the fight.

The secessionist majority in Ruthenia's parliament immediately votes a resolution of unilateral independence, but governors from pro-Commonwealth regions reject this and Ruthenia is split in half, with about 30% of the Commonwealth's army joinig the new state.

The PSR's lightning surge against the Commonwealth, however, slows down as winter arrives.

Sucessful negotiations end the small Middle Eastern war: Balkanatolia reckognizes Manila Pact gains in Arabia and Mesopotamia in exchange for the Suez.

Several nations start to settle Cuba's remains as the last surviving members of the Communist Party load a ship with administrative documents and alien technology and head to Soviet Spain.

ALPACA sees their first victory as the encircled colonials in Tamanrasset are defeated. One of the two encircled divisions is sucessfully evacuated, but an entire division surrenders and the Europeans see their first major defeat in the Maghreb war.

USA sent most of their peacekeeping troops from Britain to claim the smoldering ruin of Cuba. Scottish nationalists took advantage of this, they formed a huge army which easily kicked out the remaining Americans and pushed the English out of Scotland

This vast Celtic army is led by a man who calls himself "William Wallace II" and it appears he intends to rebuild Hadrian's Wall to keep out the English permanently

Under the leadership of the great Maatir Khan, Balkan nomads convert to Orthodoxy, settle down and a new culture emerges as a combination of Altaic, Slavic, Romance and Magyar elements.

The PSR's attempt at a Balkan encirclement largely fails as most of the Commonwealth's Caucasian presence is evacuated by the Portuguese navy. Only two Corps remain in the Caucasus, and will soon give their arms to Balkanatolia and head home rather than surrender to the Slavs.

The Commonwealth's core territories, however, now face collapse, as Ruthenia rushes to cut off the Poles and Balts wherever possible. An army of Danes, Norwegians, Swedes and Portuguese assembles at Riga, but winter means it'll take several months until counter-offensives are plausible.

The Western Front stagnates as Brussels becomes a highly disputed border city.

Trump gives up on babysitting warmongering Europeans and revokes all American presence and financial support to both England and the Celtic Union, focusing instead on colonizing what's left of Cuba aka Donald Land.

No longer having to keep half of their army in the mainland, England quickly smashes the Celts, who respond with bloody guerilla warfare. Wallace forms a fascist party- The Celtic Patriotic Union- and stages a coup in Dublin, seizing power for himself.

Scottish nationalists invite English soldiers into their homes and feed them poisoned haggis. The English are once again driven out of Scotland, William Wallace sets up troops all along Hadrian's Wall and tells England to kindly fuck off

The PSR continues its' southern conquests unopposed and sends several armies to Ruthenia, but heavy snowfall and Commonwealth reinforcements stabilize the front.

Facing a nightmarish guerilla war, Catalonia opens peace negotiations with the Maghreb. Their initial proposal states that whites will be respected, their properties won't be taken over and international investments won't be nationalized. Maghrebi fighters insist on a full retreat of whites from Africa, and the war continues.

The mostly pro-Slavic Ruthenian parliament holds a referendum on union with the PSR. Unsurprisingly, 67% of votes support the union and Ruthenia is annexed. Further south, the PSR sends an entire army group to crush Theodoro, including many former nomads, but stop after Balkanatolia guarantees Theodoro's independence in exchange for most of the Caucasus. A peace deal is reached, but Theodoro prepares to fight another day. An army stays behind and the rest of the army group returns to the front, but not fast enough to prevent the Bergen Pact-Commonwealth alliance from restoring contact with Poland and taking Archangelsk.

Fighting diminishes in the Maghreb as peace negotiations advance. ALPACA is willing to give temporary concessions to the Europeans, hoping to evict them in the long run.

Abyssinia trades Somaliland for Eritrea and kicks out thousands of Muslims into Balkanatolian colonies while enforcing anti-Muslim legislation. This bothers many in Australia, who now want it to stop supporting the problematic and Islamophobic Abyssinian government.

The Americans also experimentally set a single currency and open borders between their Middle Eastern puppets. This policy will be reversed if it fails to improve their economies.

Winter ends and offensives return in Europe. The Commonwealth is in shambles as Pannonia enters the war on the PSR's side and takes Galicia while Slavic troops cut off Poland from the Baltic and Ruthenia. While Swedish and Norwegian troops prevent Warsaw from falling, the new Ukrainian pocket won't last long. The Bergen Pact then reaches a deal to allow Poland to be supplied from Prussia in exchange for naval support against Lotharingia, and obtains some sucess in Slavic territory. Sweden and the Commonwealth want a great offensive to reach Moscow and end the war, but other Bergen Pact members- particularly Portugal, who cares more about Africa than Europe- do not want to waste more political capital, lives and money on this war.

Leftists through the world form a campaign against Abyssinia's anti-Muslim policies, calling for a boycott. On London, Barcelona and Stockholm, huge rallies are held, demanding immediate sanctions on the Ethiopians and aid to the Somalian warlords.

Lotharingian forces lose Brussels and some of the Flemish salient.

A shaky truce begins in the Maghreb. The Pharaoh, leading ALPACA's diplomatic arm, is surprisingly moderate, ordering the mujahideen to back down (most of them don't) and showing himself open to a democratic solution, insisting on "one man, one vote".

As for the map, I figured out it's simply pic related reduced to two colours and enlarged by a factor of four. So adding Europe would be trivial, but the filesize could grow too big and the picture could become too cumbersome to edit. An alternative would be scaling this one down to 2 (with no antialiasing, though that would leave plenty of anomalies to fix), then adding America. If I were to do it, I'd properly add Socotra and a couple other places, fix some of the color inconsistencies in small islands and the like, change the sea's color and maybe even add a few random latitude lines to prevent image editing programs from sperging out if you use the bucket in the wrong place.

If anyone else appreciates the idea, I can do it.

Amidst the power vacuum created by the transition, jihadis formerly fighting the anti-colonial struggle split off from their communist allies and start an insurgency in the Maghreb, while crowds of angry Arabs murder several dozen whites in their properties while the army, disorganized and weak, fails to respond. Meanwhile, Balkanatolian peacekeepers arrive and regular Balkanatolian troops invade Cyrenaica, supposedly to return it to the Maghreb. South German divisions recover some territory and surround Vienna, but the Coalition fails to prevent even greater Entente gains in the West. The end is near.

Prussia pressures the Bergen pact to aid them with land forces by cutting off the supply line to Poland, but Sweden refuses. This allows the PSR to further shrink the Polish pocket.

Bergen Pact forces fail to advance further in the north as guerilla units constantly harass them.

Abyssinia crushes most of the Somali raiders and launches a punitive expedition to Somalian lands, pillaging everything in their way.

Japan and Kabulistan send reinforcements to Arabia and attempt to figure out some way to reduce the new insurgency.

Balkanatolia gives Serbia some clay in order to prop them up against Pannonia.

Pannonia loses ground in their German front but counterattacks against its' rebellious vassals, pushing the Serbians back to the Danube and nearly destroying Transylvania. Moldavia, on the other hand, gains more ground. While Wallachia has been mostly assimilated into the new Pannonian identity, Moldavia retains Romanian nationalism.

Denmark and Norway nearly leave the Eastern war before being convinced by Sweden to attempt one last strike into Moscow. Poland will fall soon if they fail.

The massive number of encircled divisions still allows the Entente, now with Italian support, to advance into German ground, taking Baden-Wurttemberg and surrounding several mountain divisions in the Alps.

America intervenes in the Canadian Civil War against Federal Canada. American tanks blitz through the prairies, Toronto falls and Ottawa is about to be taken. However, casualties are massive and resistance is fierce. To further complicate things, Kabulistan is asking for reinforcements, an entire army must still be kept in Mexico to maintain orders, federal Canadian forces regained ground in Ontario and several states rebel against Quebec.

Occitania holds a referendum and chooses to join Corsica which frees them from the war reparations. Corsica now prepares to fight a war with Basque to take their peice of France

Noregr and Portugal continues their colonial collaboration and make moves to gain power in the carribbean. Noregr purchases Greenland from Denmark, seeking to maintain naval dominance of the Northern Pacific, as well as selling some arctic islands to Sweden.

Short of funds, Balkanatolia asks Trump for extra financial support while minimizing IS presence by giving Nejd almost full autonomy and strict sharia laws. Japan does the same in Yemen, but keeps a ground presence to fight the jihadi threat.

Caliphornia settles border regions of northern Nigeria, but leaves the interior stateless.

Balkanatolia and the People's Slavic Republic form the Holy League, a Christian military alliance.

As elections loom in the Maghreb and Balkanatolian forces restore some semblance of order, polls show the Justice Party as the faction most likely to elect a president, striking fear in other parties. The MNF, backed by ALPACA, wants to run together with the JP, with a JP presidential candidate and a MNF vice-president, while Balkanatolia would prefer the unlikely "plan B" of a MNF + Democratic Party coalition to deter the Islamist threat. The Justice Party National Comitee itself hasn't chosen its' candidate, but there are two prominent politicians they could pick:

>Mohammed ben Brahim, a possibly IS-linked radical Islamist famous for proposing the implementation of sharia law. Despite massive resistance, he has a strong supporting base.

Caliphornia tests several missiles in the Atlantic, nearly reaching the Canaries. Portugal responds by reinforcing the border.

The former King of Occitania and Catalonia, now exiled in Barcelona, calls every patriotic Occitanian to fight French domination of core lands, wheter they are under Corsican, Vendée or Lotharingian occupation. This ignites a surge of anti-French and anti-Napoleonic feelings, not only in the former rump state but also in Aquitaine and Marseille. The Occitanian Falange's popularity rises to a fifth of the population, while more moderate nationalists also gain ground. Huge protests are held in Montpellier and other cities and responded with violence, followed by defections in large portions of the Occitanian army, just barely integrated into the Corsican chain of command. The rebellious forces are quickly beaten by the pro-Napoleon faction's superior organization and forced to retreat to the border with Catalonia, which allows supplies and countless volunteers (some of them ethnic Catalonians) to pour in for the fight against Corsica.

Most notable, however, is the conclusion to the Western war. Surrounded and facing a collapsing front, Prussia accepts a humiliating peace deal. Little monetary reparations are demanded, but Germany is broken down into a patchwork of states bonded with Lotharingia through the "Germanic Community". Lotharingia annexes Paris (on the condition that the top brass of the Worker's and Peasant's Party can escape through England), Baden and some of the Rheinland, Pannonia receives Moravia, eastern Austria and a tiny coast, Italy expands the Dalmatian colony and the twin German states are broken into Westphalia (ruled by a relative of the Lotharingian king), Wurttemberg, Bavaria, Switzerland, Bohemia (strongly pro-Lotharingian), Brandenburg, Meklinburg, Prussia, Silesia, Hessia, Thuringia and Saxony.

Free from one front, Pannonia forces the Transylvanian count to swear loyalty once again and retakes half of Moldavia, but fails to advance any further. Nomads previously in Austria and Switzerland flock to Pannonia and convert to Orthodoxy, while Germanic know-how is integrated into the Pannonian economy.

Ottawa is surrounded and shelled by American and Quebecóis divisions. As his end looms, Trudeau vows to "never give up the fight against the cis white male imperialists". He is never seen again. Elsewhere, the newly pro-Federal provinces gain ground, while southern Manitoba falls.

The city explodes in anger, and a local Occitanian Falange- linked militia sets fire to a Muslim district after Arab demonstrations violently enter a white district.

A week later, without any strong moderate candidates, Mohammed ben Brahim becomes the Justice Party's presidential candidate. As polls show he can win even on the first round, the Democratic Party rushes to find a deal for an united front with the MNF.

ALPACA launches an offensive against the Somalian warlords on Chad while bringing order to chaotic areas devastated by the Abyssinian expedition.

Corsica makes minor gains against Occitania on the coast, but loses some of the interior. Eager to liberate their homelands, Occitanian Falange militias enter Vendée territory. The King-Bishop immediately orders three infantry divisions to the south, but his military forces are already overstrechted, having to demobilize while containing pro-French sentiment. Pan-rench demonstrations hit his Holy State, and support for the theocracy is now only found in rural areas.

Freikorps units, organized by several fascist parties, the biggest of which is the National Socialist People's Party, gain massive support amongst the German population. They face a new threat- reorganized communists in the German Worker's Party, a Strasserist-leaning leftist coalition that abandoned internationalist ideals to better dispute the nationalist crown. The communists organize their Red Brigades and fight the Freikorps in open street fighting on major urban centers.

A Pannonian offensive into Moldavia fails once again.

Pressure from Denmark and Norway force Sweden to accept defeat after the strike against Moscow fails and PSR troops nearly reach Warsaw. Poland and Ruthenia are annexed by the Slavic Republic, but Poles on the Commonwealth side of the frontline are given two weeks to leave if they want to. Thousands escape through Prussia to the Baltic, to organize the future resistance. The Commonwealth's Emperor abdicates to his positions as King of Poland and Ruthenia, remaining only as Duke of the Baltic. The last remaining Commonwealth member- the Baltic Duchy- becomes a sovereign state.

A week later, the Lotharingian army sweeps in and restores order- except in Aquitaine, where three divisions defect and themselves face off against Occitanian rebels. Shots are exchanged and a small war flares up.

Parliamentary elections are held in Lotharingia,. The Social Democratic Party and the Green Party together obtain 54% of seats in the House of Representatives. Paul Drees, veteran SDP leader, becomes Prime Minister, promising to minimize Lotharingian foreign intervention and negotiate with the German communists. Next in representation is the Pan-French People's Party, with a full 21%, and the traditionally dominant Conservative Party, with 20%. Dutch and Burgundian elites approach the King- Philip IX of Burgundy-Valois for a possible "restoration of order".

German Communists take over Berlin, Thuringia and much of Bavaria and Silesia, defeating the Freikorps and the diminished national armies, themselves riddled with defections. They call for "freeing the German proletariat from Lotharingia's feudal tyranny".

The first Entente Summit is organized in Luxembourg. Lotharingia, Pannonia, Vendée, Westphalia and Bohemia attend, with Italy and Catalonia as observers. Corsica's absence further increases the divide between Philip and Napoleon.
