I'm polish and moved to England last year. I've finished polish equalivant of british colege (i guess, it's called Technikum Mechatroniczne, maybe some polfag will know) in Mechatronics. I didn't pass the "matura" however, which is an exam that you have to pass in order to go to university in Poland. Now, can I go to british university without this exam ? Can I try to pass british equalivant of that exam ?

Also i forgot, about the matura… there's a matura exam for each subject, 3 of which are mandatory to pass. Polish, math, and one foreign language of choise (english in my case). I have passed english and math, I only failed polish.

Most Indians who apply to UK universities after 12th standard (age 17-18), already have A-Levels and TOEFL grades. You should check what are the requirements of your desired universities. Check the UCAS.

English exam is basically just "write a letter to somebody about something" to check your spelling ang grammar and shit. Polish exam is about literature. Besides, i've passed the oral exam (wink wink nodge nodge) but failed the written shit.

literally no surprise here, the graduation from czech includes a bunch of utterly useless horseshit that you are never going to use, a 10 or 15 speech about a book (you give them a list of 20 books and 1 gets randomed) and so on, while all you have to do to pass the english exam is knowing how to speak english. i imagine the situation is same in poland.
