Hi, newcomer here.

I am just curious what other names for bangladeshis do you have? So far I've found bengi, curry nigger, paki(lel), miskin. I think "flood nigger" is quite suitable. But would like to hear from you guys :-)

In all seriousness, you bengali guys have a really proud history and culture (especially during your renaissance)- but why the hell are you guys islamic? You should be proud Hindus again.

Also- stop the opium production

I kinda agree with you althou it's a bit complex. I hear from my elders that hindu, muslims, buddhists used to get along very well until recently in my country.

The British seperated the hindus and muslims of Mahabharat(Greater India) to create India and Pakistan in 1947. Bengali speaking people were then in two regions calcutta(west bengal) and east pakistan(currently bangladesh). We gained independence in 1971. So our identity as a whole would be bengali speaking muslim people and much of our culture and so called development were done by muslims and the british. We sure are grateful to them.

The guy Raja Rammohan Roy actually abolished various inhumane hindu practices like burning widows and caste system. Muslims were the underdogs tbh.

The current government is doing it's best to remove radicalism and not suck so much tbh

 No.320078

I forgot, I think you meant pakistan when you mentioned opium. Weed, phenycyclidine and meth are the culprits here :-(

Not exactly a slang. But…

Babumoshai translates something like Monseigneur. Elite Bengalis used to use it address each other formally.

But nowadays, we call Bengali "intellectual" edgelords as Babumoshai mockingly. They all think everyone except them are unlettered savages.

I think I saw that video before. Posted comments to make "patriotic" people buttmad. It is true that we are the most corrupt and worthless nation but some people(locals) and even the govt think we are doing great. Just read the comment section of that video for example. If I point out something negative then I get labeled as a traitor. :(

To fix a problem you need to admit that there is one. I need to figure out a way to redpill the masses without getting v&. This was the point of this thread. Thanks for your input guys.

 No.320276

Not Saudi Arabia, Pakistan. Not bashing pakibros though. The past is past, let's move on already. 'tis 2016.

The people you see in that photo are mostly young kids who grew up in madrassa and are the underpriviledged. The rich or even upper middle class folks cannot be bothered to take care of the orphans. So the mosques and madrassas give them food, shelter, education. Otherwise they would just become another riksha puller. They cant think outside the holy book and are loyal to their caregivers.

The big islamic leaders sometimes use them for protesting, election campaigning with the pronise of a job and secure future. I guess I'm just babbling but what I mean is that if there was a "secular" alternative for these kids then the radicalism would disappear in a few generations. Also not all bangladeshis are very religious. Following Saudi Arabia would be a big step up.

Ultraorthodox hindus do the same in India.

Islam would be our first step towards "cizilization" from hinduish nastyness. As long as we are citing blogs here is one.

>step towards "cizilization"

Islam is still stuck in the 8th century, while all major religions of the world have had several major reforms. Because any reformer in Islam is promptly murdered and/or forgotten. Islam is the first step into medieval history.

>Ultraorthodox hindus do the same in India.

The reaction to it nationwide was strongly negative. On the other hand, it is common to see Muslim people rejoicing the death of atheists and moderate reformers.

In India, the population of Muslim keeps increasing. Whereas in Pakistan and Bangladesh, Hindus are dwindling fast. We keep getting hundreds of Hindu refugees from there. Because Islam is not exactly a tolerant religion.

Implying Saudi Arabia is not funding Wahhabism world-wide including in Bangladesh.

Well, the same holds true for most muslims countries in the 70s, it really was an incredible positive time in comparison to today.

European Hippies used to travel with the bus or even by hitchhiking(!) to Afghanistan or the far east, spend there some time with the natives and came back unscathed instead of getting murderaped in the first days of attempting this voyage as it would happen now.
