CZECH IT OUT, NEW COUNTRY THREAD.

Tell me about the Czech Republic

True. You can pick up a random girl off the street and get your dick wet with no strings attached twice as easily as anywhere else. This probably has something to do with the fact they're the most atheist country in the world.

That sucks. I don't like degenerate places.

i really like living here, not having to deal with refugees while not being a poor shithole is a pretty nice combination. not much else to say i guess.

>>321652

you probably think of atheists as euphoric fedora neckbeards that complain about phony gods all day, but it's not like that here. people here just don't care about religion and they don't express their opinion about it (45% of the people haven't answered when asked about their religion in population census) so i don't think it's that bad.

also 69 get

Oh, so they are just private about it. Hm, I can understand that.

Good.

I also hear you have nice gun laws.

 No.321680

>>321671

well they aren't really private about it, they really just don't care. they don't initiate discussions about religions and some of them don't even deny there is a god, however not believing there is a god makes them get counted as atheists.

our laws are beyond the most gun friendly ones because self-defence is a valid reason of owning a gun, you can carry your gun concealed without being obligated to give a reason to do so and semi automatic rifles are allowed (although with a permit).

however, our gun ownership rate is pretty average, there isn't many reasons to own a gun other than hunting, supposedly due to low crime rate.

As long as I can have proper semi-auto fun at the range and keep the gun for home protection I'm fine.

As long as you don't bow down to Merkel and let the friendly enrichers in.

Also, are there any ruins from the Cold War era around? Are they common?

That's what happens when you spend so much time sheltered on the American Internet. You start to adopt these images that don't apply to Europeans

i doubt that is going to happen, people won't vote for any immigration supporting party (kek, out of about 25 people in my class not a single student raised their hand when asked if we should accept refugees).

we still got some old soviet barracks, but the number of them is decreasing, as they get renovated or demolished. i haven't personally seen one, so they likely aren't very common. other than that there are probably only some well-preserved parts of the iron gate.

you won't be able to see homos kissing or holding hands in the streets (at least outside of prague), those are my experiences at least. one of my classmates is a gay and the popular boys banter him time from time (according to what i heard that wouldn't be acceptable in most of gay-friendly countries, since he obviously doesn't like it) so i wouldn't really call us a gay-friendly country.

what we're known for are those public pickups (all of them are 100% legit), no idea about the gay porn.

no, i'm not.

i said that since i find it hilarious that some people unironically think all of them are not staged and you can pick any girl up by offering her 200kč.

it's pretty much a meme, just like thinking that all slavs are like the ones that you see squatting in an adidas tracksuit next to a bottle of vodka (even through all of those live in russia or ukraine, and even there it's only the biggest bydlos and football fans doing that).

A climax has been reached for Christmas Island’s crabs as the final day of spawning kicked off this morning just before dawn.

Female crabs were seen in their millions, carpeting the cliffs and beaches of he island as they each tentatively tiptoed into the water and shook off their large sacks of eggs into the outgoing tide.

They massacre us and then they call us creepy

Named for the day it was discovered in 1643 and located a few hundred miles south of Indonesia, Christmas Island is home to around 45 million red crabs. Every year, these charismatic crustaceans—each about the size of your fist—crawl all over the 52-square-mile island and head to sea en masse to spawn. (This year’s migration began in early December.) People fly in from around the world to witness what resembles armies of cherry Christmas bulbs on the march.

It would seem no force could harry such a legion, armed as it is with claws and chitin. And yet, the crabs have a formidable enemy.

https://archive.is/ypsob

On Christmas Island, an estimated 43.7 million Christmas Island red crabs dwell. That’s a truly staggering number of crabs living on such a small island; But, if hordes of adult Christmas Island red crabs seemed incredible enough, their tiny children are even more mind-numbing. After spending three to four weeks at sea, the baby red crabs crawl from the water and begin their nine day journey to the center of Christmas Island. This results in an even greater and creepier horde than that of their migrating parents.

https://archive.is/kx8aO

Some however cherish our presence

The island is rich in biological diversity and contains some unique organisms. 63% of the island belongs to a national park.

The scientific name of the red crab is Gecarcoidea natalis. It's native to Christmas Island and the Cocos or Keeling Islands, which are also located in the Indian Ocean and are also a territory of Australia.

The red crab is quite large compared to other crabs. Its carapace, or shell, may reach as much as 4.6 inches in width. Males are generally bigger than females. Although the crab is usually red in colour, some individuals are orange. Very rarely, a red crab may be purple in colour.
