I think our immigration process is easier than NZ's, but I don't know how it compares to Canada. In total, the other two countries have lower crime rates and less nogs nogging about, but if you don't go to where they live, they won't be a problem.

There are plenty of smallish cities with minimal diversity if you just want to avoid crime and live cheaply. Portions of the midwest and south are the parts that have large quantity of dindu, in addition to pockets in major cities.

If you want to live on the plains, you can go to anywhere between North Dakota and Oklahoma. If you want to live in the mountains, you can go pretty much anywhere in the west. Really if the only criteria you're looking for is cheap apartment and low crime, there's few places you couldn't manage that.

Stillwater Oklahoma has a population of around 50,000. There's a college here so the population fluctuates depending on the time of year. Because of this you'll have a high chance of finding a minimum wage job in the summer, but there are also some bigger companies here. We have an electrical power plant close to us and software company that designs missiles and our own small airport. Also two walmarts. You can also easily find work at the college even if you're not a student. We're growing rapidly. You can find good quality apartments for $500. There's two really big lakes here if you like the outdoors. If you're a city dweller you won't like it here. There's only two cities in Oklahoma and both are relatively small. But Oklahoma is a good location because we're in the middle of the US, so almost everything is a days drive away, and that's not a problem because we produce our own oil. For the last year gasoline has been less than $1.50 per gallon. The people of Oklahoma are mostly christian, so everyone is pretty nice. But I know an Asian kid who bitches about racism here, although I've never seen any act of racism that wasn't from myself, but then again I never leave the house. There's a lot of overweight old people.
