Hey man, I grew up in the PNW, so no hate there, but besides smoked salmon, I don't think that we have anything that really counts as "PNW cooking". I mean, I like stuff like clam chowder, but you call it "New England Clam Chowder." I like Dungeness Crab, but I don't know if that's really necessarily exclusive to the PNW. Same with fish and chips. Same with the fruitily-hopped beers.
We make some good shit in our neck of the woods, but I'm not sure how much of it you could call traditional per se.

There are some great things that happen, culinarily, in the united states, but literally none of them involve corn (maize, for you foreigners). Corn is shit food for Injins- even popcorn is garbage. I guess it's somewhat useful for industrial products or whatever, but it's stupid to use it for a sweeter, for bio fuels, or for eating in general.
