Actually, Bulgaians are mostly a mashup of Greeks, Slavs and Bulgars. We're an orthodox Christian country. There are a lot of Turks in certain areas but it's mostly Christians here.

Now food wise, pork is in the center of our food. We eat a lot of pork related stuff. Breakfasts are kinda varied but you can go to a lot of fast food places that have pretty good food. There's hot dogs that have bacon or ham instead of a dog. There's toasties ( тостери ) that have chicken nuggets, ham, a type of salami called луканка or with a burger. Now the most classic thing you can get is a banica ( баница ) with cheese which is pretty tasty. There's also the typical McDonalds but there isn't one around my area.

Hey man, I grew up in the PNW, so no hate there, but besides smoked salmon, I don't think that we have anything that really counts as "PNW cooking". I mean, I like stuff like clam chowder, but you call it "New England Clam Chowder." I like Dungeness Crab, but I don't know if that's really necessarily exclusive to the PNW. Same with fish and chips. Same with the fruitily-hopped beers.

We make some good shit in our neck of the woods, but I'm not sure how much of it you could call traditional per se.
