Beijing has been took over by an exploit.
If you look closely to my list, neko_genome and grabbaren, two cracked members of Beijing, have been joining and leaving server the whole night. Every time they left exactly after 5 minutes, exactly the amount of login timeout in AuthMe. So it is clear it was caused by an attacker that was creating fake sessions with no intention to log in.
Now, you need 2 players online in a town in order to attack it.
But Towny sees all players present on a server as if they were online, even if they don't log in in AuthMe.
Attacker had enough time to claim chunks one by one by himself.
In response:
- Red_Majora and his associated IPs were banned
- Blocks changed by Red_Majora were rollback'd
- Reps will be issued to Beijing if they desire so,
- Also I've changed AuthMe login timeout to 20 seconds. If it won't fix the problem, we will be forced to close down the server for cracked accounts.

With cracked clients allowed, Evilio will always have access to the server. The only thing that will stop him is IP ban. This is not a problem for him at all in era of abundance of various different VPN services, dynamic IP providers etc.
However, If we ban an account on a serb with no crackers access, this account can't access the server anymore no matter what IP he uses. Only way to bypass it is to use/buy another account. Eventually Evilio will run out of them and he'll need to buy more accounts just to troll some folks from mongolian throat singing imageboard.
With all honesty, it wouldn't bother me a bit if we had no technical problems or the system wasn't abused by forces that are clearly hostile to us - but it is. Yeah. Well, there's too much admin intervention all around, generally speaking. CB rules are too lax. Other general rules are implied, too vague or even have to be heard on grapevine. There are even events organized by admins with prizes organized by admins. /int/craft has it's "no rulefaggotry" rule but i feel like it's starting to haunt us. The CB system we have as of now is unmaintanable and much work must be done in order to get things straight.
I am a big fan of organic self-regulating systems like Civcraft or CivEx II, where players can ban players themselved by permapearling, but I have a feeling that we, as a community can't afford it at all. From my side I can only promise that I will be researching all available game designs in order for /int/craft to success while keeping its core idea intact.

You could keep moving your homeblock whenever we got close, meaning we would theoretically have to capture every single chunk in your city before it fell.
