lads anyone know if we've decided to go kikemode and premium for xi, or still let piratefags play?

need to know if i should start gathering the shekels required to purchase a copy of Autism Simulator tbh

 No.4116

a few day's work in the english mines should be enough for an mc account.

The day intcraft goes premium is the day it stops being a 4chan server tbh

After Luna memed Beijing all by himself, it is clear at this point that we can't let this go on.

Most /int/craft players use legit accounts anyway.

>>4117

Only 2 from total 12 listed 4chan servers in /vg/mcg are pirate friendly.

I can say there's a 99% chance of going premium in upcoming iteration.

"no"

BUUUUUUUUUUT

Monsquaz, consider this:

Your graphic is about all accounts ever registered

What about a graphic representing the active playerbase's demographics?

>says coolghoul

what's the point of this post, it is only sensible to consider how much of the active playerbase is playing on cracked accounts, as active playerbase is obviously much more important than 700 inactive non-cracked players, don't you agree

Also your post is ignorant because I won't leave if dubscraft is premium only, unlike you

>I can say there's a 99% chance of going premium in upcoming iteration.

absolutely based. Now we won't have to deal with poorfags and the alts of shitters

 No.4170

Consider the following

it's easy as fuck to find a premium alt account on the internet, and poses no more difficulty than just using a different cracked account

So, the problem of alts won't go away, but you'll lose the playerbase that uses cracked accounts

 No.4182

Isn't the pvp glitch linked to cracked accounts with authme? If it is then we really don't have an option. Although it will suck for any piratefags who can't get a premium account there really isn't any other alternative.

RIP ghoul

 No.4183

>>4182

Were you still experiencing pvp glitch in last 2 days or so?

 No.4188

>>4183

no i haven't, i just remember reading a post saying that all the players affected by the pvp glitch were premium accounts, or something along those lines.

 No.4191

>>4178

minecraft pricing for countries with weak currency is ridiculous

imagine paying 80 euro/dollars for minecraft

 No.4210

Some players don't even bother playing on PvP servers if they see they're pirate-friendly. Pirate-friendly server means cheating and shittering is allowed without any consequence. I think quality players are well aware of this and they are more prone to leave the server, meanwhile we attract all kinds of shitters on hacks.

>>4151

>What about a graphic representing the active playerbase's demographics?

No plugin tracks player activity unfortunately

Anyway I don't think cracked/non-cracked is a factor for player activity, sample is large enough to draw some conclusions

[22:37:35] BeefTenderloin: and there's even more than just that website

[22:37:44] BeefTenderloin: you wont stop the shitters

[22:37:58] BeefTenderloin: you just fuck stuff up for the genuine pirates

[22:38:03] BeefTenderloin: it's like gun control

[22:38:10] BeefTenderloin: you just ruin guns for normal people

[22:38:15] BeefTenderloin: but criminals will still get them

[22:39:37] mon squaz: eh so legit players will use minecraftleaks.com account as well

[22:39:41] mon squaz: then what's the problem

[22:40:01] BeefTenderloin: because those leaks get shut down after a few days

[22:40:06] BeefTenderloin: enough time for shitters to cause damage

[22:40:13] BeefTenderloin: but it makes things hard for legitimate pirates

[22:40:20] BeefTenderloin: you're not affording yourself any extra security by doing this

 No.4229

>>4225

>>4221

Yeah. Finally a very good argument against going online.

So that obviously means shitters will be still able to connect and going online won't fix the alt problem in any reasonable way.

Considering these accounts get deleted after few days, legit cracked players won't be able to use the privilege of leaked account, and like Beef said, it's enough time for shitters to cause damage. So either way, we're fucked, in any way or another.

I know we have some problems with AuthMe/AutoIn, but I can't say now that going premium will benefit the server in any way.

If we want to stay open for cracked accounts, this will pose a problem for Towny. Towny uses playernames, not UUIDs for name checking, and the exploit will still work so everyone will be able to take over any town assuming the attacker has enough VPN relays to bypass the single session requirement.

Your thoughts on this?

I gotta revise all my options here. I've heard both sides for both of these issues, and it seems that every solution has its problems.

 No.4239

If we want to use Towny, the most feasible way to deal with cracked accounts will be:

- enabling container transactions in coreprotect so we can rollback all the damage exploiter caused,

- increasing the number of players needed in order to take over a town (i don't like the idea)

- modify Towny by myself so war flag will disappear once players go offline (best idea) so the exploit will no longer work
