In any case, the lack of unified bug reporting or any versioning system for our plugins isn't ideal. It's also in poor form to have a community effort be closed source and fixes bottlenecked through a single developer.

There is literally no reason not to open source, I doubt /int/craft ever stands a chance of turning a profit, and can only benefit from community contribution.

No. That's stupid. When you make something for the imageboard community, you should expect nothing but vitriol and spite and take it like a man. People will envy and despise those who create, or be critical when it is necessary to the improvement of the creation to better meet the needs of the community. Often it's hard to determine which is which, but in any case, it's to be expected if not accepted with the territory.

For example, there has never been an admin for the SS13 community that wasn't hated by some portion of it. But still, we make a sacrifice to keep a piece of our culture alive and well somewhere.

Expect no thanks or praise for it. The merit lies in the action alone. You do it for free.

Anyway, I support the idea of setting up something like GitLab for some plugins and their configurations. I'll see what can be done. Not now though, we still have more important matters to deal with before grace.

Unified bug reporting? Just post a thread on 8ch and that's all. We don't have that much bugs to track of at any given time. Until we get versioning up and running 8ch is sufficient for that matter so ease up your autism.
