Either fix realistic biomes or remove it, even in the proper biome basic crops take 3 hours to grow which is fucking ridiculous and you cant fish enough to supply a town of 20 people for more than a few minutes. Trees can take 24 hours. This is also historically inaccurate in some places as well. Overall this won't really do anything other than make farming and food in game fucking annoying. Even with weed trees will be cancer. I wouldn't really care if it was something like 10 minutes to grow in optimal times and it got a little shittier in places like deserts, but certain shit like spruce trees not growing in even taigas is autistic, and most solutions to these problems will probably be memey workarounds and wont address the core problems with this system. I'd say just remove it unless you plan on making the time spans much shorter.
