An umbrella term to include folks who identify as freeaboo, anti-rulecuck, and other identities where a board does not identify with the moderation they were assigned at birth. It is a placeholder for suffixes of int, that is, int_. The asterisk (*) is standing in for *l, *y, *sa, *x, *f, *p, *ka *chan, *w, and *e.
It is also inclusive of identities that do not start with the prefix “int,” but can be understood as under the int* umbrella. These identities include, but are not limited to, /am/eeb, bi-free, third free, freef*ck, freedom fluid, freedomless, NAP, ancap, Two Freedom, non-binary, freeogynous, and Free of center (FOC). While all of these identities are distinct from one other, each can be understood as under the int* umbrella because the folks who identify with them do not identify as the rulecucks they were assigned at birth and/or are “freeing” (deviating from norms; blurring) moderation expectations and assumptions.
A note on usage: the identities above are all self-identifying terms. It is not for you to say then, “Well, I read a cripplepost that said people of spam are int*, so if you identify as a spammer you are int*, whether you think so or not.”
Respect the words that people use to describe themselves by using those same words to describe them and not questioning their use of the terms.
“I identify as int*”
