READ THE ARCHIVED /meta/ THREADS IF YOU'RE NEW AND WANT A GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE LOGS
4chan janitor logs from 2011 through to early 2015 have been leaked. Lots of juicy shit about every board with moderation problems, plenty of hotpocketeering and laughs to be had.

*The mediafire link is a reupload. The files were initially hosted on pomf (http://p.pomf.se/5801), however pomf shut down in June 2015. The janitor who leaked the logs attached a note to explain his decision which can still be read here:

**8archive only stores the first 300 replies of a thread - the /meta/ threads in particular are much longer (900+ posts) so while formatting is worse using the archive.today links is advised.
If you repost the irc logs to 4chan or anywhere else, use screenshots, /ghost/ (via warosu or archive.moe) and other workarounds in order to reach people rather than using plain text irc logs or posting the pomf link (it's banned, so you can't post it in the first place). Plain text logs will get the post deleted and you banned very quickly, so be smart about it.
Rules
1. Global rules apply.
2. Spoiler NSFW/porn. This isn't a porn board, so try to keep it SFW.
3. Keep active doxing and any threats/actions against janitors in real life outside of /irc/.
4. Keep it related to 4chan's moderation and the logs.
Make an effort to self-moderate. Use the report button and ignore people that try to drag discussion off topic. Other than that, have fun ripping into the logs!
I'm not going to babysit retards sperging out over crack. Any /a/ thread that doesn't lead with new information along with dramafaggotry in general will be deleted.

Featuring highlights such as:Moot goes to google
>Today I’m excited to announce that I’ve joined Google.
>When meeting with current and former Googlers, I continually find myself drawn to their intelligence, passion, and enthusiasm — as well as a universal desire to share it with others. I’m also impressed by Google’s commitment to enabling these same talented people to tackle some of the world’s most interesting and important problems.
>I can’t wait to contribute my own experience from a dozen years of building online communities, and to begin the next chapter of my career at such an incredible company.
The good news is, this may stop goonesque google bombing. The bad news is that moot went full corporate. The guy who was said to be cuckhold is now joining the right organization for such a person: A corporation.

Troid getting fired soon, comrades. I"m pretty sure the guy saw the poll or the thread about it since people posted it all over the place.
Mod Feedback Being Slapped Down on /qa/
I've noticed there's a great deal of drama on /qa/ recently. Specifically, a number of users are calling for most or all of the mods to be fired. There's a lot of shitposting about it, and /qa/ is being flooded with shitposting while threads that directly concern mods are being deleted.
Has anything been said in the IRC about this?
Janitor Activity On /q/
I have been intending to make this thread for a long time, so for that I apologise. There are various reason why this has taken me so long. The main issue was the loss of archive.moe. A lot of time was invested by anons of /irc/ into using the site as a platform for spreading and hosting information. Hopefully this will be recovered in time. Secondly, I have had my own work to do and there isn't the sense of urgency that there once was.
In this thread I will be looking through the IDs of various janiteam members and showing what they posted while they assumed they were anonymous on /q/. As before I will focus on the moderation staff responsible for /a/, /u/ and /jp/. If anyone has any requests for me to look into the other anime based boards, I will. /pol/ and /v/ are still outside of my capabilities.
Before I begin the dump, there are few things I would like to make clear. The /q/ archives hosted on desustorage may not be complete. Troid and other 4chan staff members had moderator access to foolz and archive.moe. The most interesting and revealing posts may already be gone.
Is 4chan staff actually not ethnic friendly?
Even with a Japanese admin, I doubt the staff of 4chan is 100% ethnic friendly.
https://warosu.org/jp/thread/S12370248#p12370401
Best proof I have of this(for now).
Does anyone have more logs or anything useful that could hint of a race preference between 4chan staff?
>Janitor applications are now being accepted for the next ~48 hours
>Please note that we will no longer require you to submit a government-issued identification document in order to volunteer.
Anyone want to try to infiltrate their way in? Start as a janny and work our way up the ladder by having partners post CP to be deleted to look like we're good at the "job"
This is a really embarrassing question that I want answered in time and with 0% BS, as I don't know where else I could possibly get an answer about this.
Who fires who in 4chan, now that moot is "SUPPOSEDLY" gone? How do you guarantee anyone remains fired? Is there anyone behind the firings now besides moot, who can be considered higher than the majority and closer to moot, because up till now even global mods seemed equal in position?
Is it just me or they fucked up the moment he left and someone "SUPPOSEDLY" took over???
A unexpected development
moot lost his fucking mind and handed over 4chan to the man who sold 2ch's content to thread simulator blogs, leaked credit card data of millions and millions of users and then lost 2ch to Jim Watkins last year shortly before the 2ch and 8ch partnered up.
This has 2 following effects:
A) 4chan is now more undesirable than it has been before to 8ch users
B) It may cause another exodus infinity can't handle.

I'm a user in an IRC channel called #thehappening on Rizon. We're an offshoot of /pol/ and generally discuss current affairs and the like. We were discussing the janitor logs and one of our admins, Archeaon, mentioned that yetsturdy had contacted him in the past. This little SJW faggot wanted to manipulate peoples beliefs through their position of power on various IRC channels - much like he controls and manipulates people through his position as a custodian on 4chan./g/ Discussion
As a seasoned /g/entooman I've decided to have a look through the IRC logs and pick out interesting comments.Genreal thread

So how does it feel that these "massive" leaks that you no life faggots spent hours archiving were ultimately a failure? 4chan is still standing strong, all of it's boards are still superior to it's 8chan copy cats and no one cares about the leaks besides a few butthurt children mad about their bans, as you can see from these pitiful stats
>inb4 I get called a butthurt janny
