This is a really embarrassing question that I want answered in time and with 0% BS, as I don't know where else I could possibly get an answer about this.

Who fires who in 4chan, now that moot is "SUPPOSEDLY" gone? How do you guarantee anyone remains fired? Is there anyone behind the firings now besides moot, who can be considered higher than the majority and closer to moot, because up till now even global mods seemed equal in position?

Is it just me or they fucked up the moment he left and someone "SUPPOSEDLY" took over???

If you guys find anything off like that, do post in here as proof.

I'd like to hear very much.

/v/ digger here!

Not there yet, and I will likely not find much evidence in the logs, because moot was still admin when the leaker left.

A good candidate would be rapeApe who fired Kusanagi in moot's stead.

Take a look at the last /a/ thread:

That's fucking right, that's what I'm looking for!

Thanks and good luck.

It seems like the the current admins are Mr. VacBob (main coder, been around since 2004), RapeApe (mod/Janitor manager) and Alternative (senior mod). The first two I'm pretty sure of (Alternative not so much so), and throughout the logs it becomes clear that RapeApe has significantly more influence than the other mods.

To further add to >>4886 at one point he appears and forces Kusanagi and Yetsturdy to stop flinging shit at one another - Yetsturdy had a tendency to go on spergy SJWesque rants which led to arguments with Kus and both of them got fired in December.

So I would agree with /v/ anon that, ignoring moot, Rapeape's probably the most in charge and would deal with firing.

What kind of fucking name is RapeApe and what board does he primarily manage.

I did know Bob was around since he's the main programer for the website still. That was my bet at first until I read what /v/ anon posted a while ago and then I was confused and had to ask after having this dilemma for such a long time.

Thanks for the replies guys, keep using the thread in the future if you find anything else.

rapeApe took his nickname from a Ancient Photshop of a Archie Comics cover. It think its so old, that it could be from SA.

Before RapeApe became responsible for all of #Janiteam as moderator in late January 2013, he first mainly did /r9k/ and then a few months later quickly took over /soc/ and /tg/ since /r9k/ has been behaving itself.

The quick ascension is still a mystery to me. Moot has expressed that his followers should not bitch at him in IRC and be more like rapeApe though.

a974e6 No.4896

I forgot to mention that rapeApe still fullfilled that function alongside with dongfix and kami when he started out.

There where other mods but these wheren't there so often. rapeApe took on the mantle of leadership practically immediately when he became Moderator after about a month of absence.

What about invisibro/swaglord/gingemod? I know he's one of the three dudes running the place along with Rapeape and that other guy, and he's an IRL friend of moot.

I have a few things about him in particular. The finds in greentext:

>He wrecked /v/ by fucking with them through modposts

>He ran #Janiteam before rapeApe

>He was blamed for everything when /q/ first opened its doors.

Other than that I haven't found out much about him for he wasn't in Janiteam that often after summer 2012.

b6822d No.4917

Do any of you remember A-san?

Do you remember how this fucker got like, fired for starting trouble while drunk among other things?

And yet AoC got back into moderation after all the shit he did…what are the chances A-san is back?

de5bdf No.4919

>>4917

None as far as I can see. A-san was a irresponsible dick by the looks of it.

AoC on the other hand overworked himself to the point of Karoshi that led his meltdown. He has also left janiteam in summer 2013 if I remember that right. Redwood, another popular scapegoat just faded out slowly in winter 2012. Whether he returned or not is not certain.

none because A-san, even thought he's a one-eyed tool, isn't enough of a normie
