Anyway, on /co/ it's common knowledge that redwood joined the navy, simply because he himself talked about it in 2013 when it still was unknown to everyone that he was part of the moderation team, and something similar can be found in the logs at around the same time. That picture shows that the guy is from norway. I mean you can't seriously believe that in the entire internet there's only one redwood, right?
