Hey guys!

Is there anybody who could help me out with translating 2-3 English sentences to Icelandic? Actually it's a quote from the first Game of Thrones book. I'd love to know that quote in your beautiful language.

Thanks a lot!

Post it. Also include page, chapter, etc.

I might swing by a library in the next few days, and if I find that the book is there I'll try to find the official translation.

Also enjoy never knowing how soiaf ends, because the fat fuck will croak before the next book will be finished.

“Never forget what you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength.

Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.”

Its page 25 in the pdf version of the English book but I doubt that its the same in the printed version. It is on the last page of the first JON Chapter.

THANKS! I have a thing for impossible-to-learn languages like Finnish and Icelandic. Probz because I'm Hungarian.

Btw, I don't really care about ASOIAF anymore, but the thing that does my head in, is that they will air Season 5 (or 6 or whatever) BEFORE the next book is finished. So its gonna be impossible for the book readers to avoid all the spoiler on the internet.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it!

One more thing. Could you tell me what does that mean roughly and whether it is grammatically correct or not?

Fyrir þig, myndi ég bíða þangað til ríki kemur.

Þangað degi mínum, minn dagur er gert.

Og segja að þú munt koma, og setja mig frjáls,

Bara segja að þú munt bíða, þú munt bíða eftir mér.
