What I find baffling about the disaster that befell Syria is that there's absolutely no legitimate side to the conflict.
On one hand you have the murderous and tyrannical regime of Assad and the agents of the self styled "Third Rome" and "neo-Sassanids" that back him.
On the other hand you have the western backed rebels serving the imperialist interests of psychopathic Zionist social engineers and oil companies.
Then you have ISIS. How anyone sane could support these people baffles me, and leads me to suspect that they are nothing but another creation of Western intelligence services.
Syria has become a chessboard for the endless conflict between the despots of the East and West.
It seems that no matter whom you support, you end up working for the cause of the Devil. I wish I could help the ordinary people of Syria somehow, but I fear that any money or resources I give them gets siphoned off for the causes of the groups fighting there.
