There is a very nice wikipedia article about Ibadi.

In short: They are neither Sunni nor Shi'a. They follow the Prophet as closely as possible to how he lived during his lifetime, rather than based on his successors. Same 5 pillars, same sunnah.

The biggest difference between Ibadi and Sunni/Shi'a is Ibadi believe hell is everlasting, eternal punishment.

I'm pretty sure they're are an offshoot of the Kharijites that decided to settle down if I'm correct. Then their leader brought them all to Oman or something like that, so there are a ton of Ibadis there.

This brother is right they're still pretty close to the Sunna unlike the Shia, so they're alright I guess.

They were a very settled down version. They also avoided all the radical beliefs that Kharijites had.

I'm not a Ibadi myself but I think they are in a good position currently to serve as mediators between Shia and Sunnis in the middle east.
