Turkey has started to remove mines planted by ISIS along a strip of territory near a Syrian border town, only a day after an Ankara-backed rebel group declared the area a “military zone” and advised civilians to leave.
A mine sweeper arrived Tuesday morning in Gaziantep province’s Karkamis district in southern Turkey to remove the landmines planted by ISIS along the Syrian-Turkish border near Jarabulus, Turkey’s state-run Anadolu News Agency reported.
A source told the agency that Turkish forces have taken “wide-ranging security measures in the area to respond to any potential attack.”
Ambulances and medical crews were also dispatched to the border area in the event of any injuries that might occur during the de-mining process.
ISIS fighters based in Jarabulus had reportedly bolstered defensive measures following reports that Turkey was moving toward establishing a “safe zone” stretching from the border town to Aazaz, a region controlled by the jihadist group.
Activist Shazza Khalil, who lives in ISIS held territory, told Al-Souria Net on July 16 that the group has dug tunnels around Jarablus along the Turkish border and inside the town.
ISIS members also laid mines all along the border, causing the death of many civilians who tried to cross over in to Turkish held territory illegally, Kahlil added.
Ankara has repeatedly reiterated its desire to establish some-form of ISIS-free border zone in northern Aleppo, with Turkey’s Yeni Safak newspaper reporting on January 11 that rebel groups were working to achieve the goal.
The daily—which is close to the country's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP)—quoted a rebel commander as saying the opposition groups intend to secure Ankara's desired safe-zone stretching from Aazaz to Jarabulus, which would prevent the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) from further expanding along the Turkish border.

Tuesday’s de-mining operation comes hours after a Turkish-backed rebel group issued a dramatic warning for civilians to leave the ISIS-held border strip with Turkey, raising the possibility of major military action in the region Ankara wants to turn into a "safe zone."
The Free Syrian Army-affiliated Sultan Murad Division on Monday morning announced that the villages between northern Aleppo's Aazaz and Jarablus were now "military zones," shortly after ISIS rocket fire killed at least one person at a school in the Turkish border town of Kilis.
"We advise civilians to leave these areas in the interests of their safety," the Sultan Murad Division—which is composed of ethnic Turkmen and receives logistical backing from Ankara—added in its terse statement.
"We are not responsible for them after the issuing of this statement."
The Sultan Murad Division has taken part in the Marea Operations Room's recent offensive against ISIS on the eastern outskirts of Aazaz, which has been backed by Turkish artillery fire.
Rebel sources in the Marea Operations Room told the Aleppo-based Shahba Press on Sunday that the "next few days will see important military developments on the ISIS fronts in the north," without elaborating further on the cryptic comment.
Since January 8, the coalition of FSA factions and Islamist battalions has pushed ISIS back from a number of small villages near the Turkish border, reversing the extremist group's gains in the region in late 2015.
Marea Operations Room-led rebels have seized the villages of Qarah Kubri, Qarah Mazraa, Al-Khirbeh and Khaftali, setting up a pincer movement surrounding the nearby town of Dudiyan, where clashes are taking place.
All these areas are located within an approximately 10-kilometer stretch of territory near the Turkish border, while the Sultan Murad's statement Monday covered the far larger Aazaz-Jarabulus strip, which stretches 100 kilometers from east to west.
However, the slow-moving offensive faced a setback Tuesday morning, after reports emerged that an ISIS counterattack recaptured two villages near the town of Dudiyan, which the rebels had surrounded from three sides.

Earlier today, the Syrian Arab Army’s 67th Brigade of the 11th Tank Division – in coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF) – were able to repel the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham’s (ISIS) attack on the Al-Sha’ar Gas Fields, forcing them to withdraw towards the small village of Al-Bayarat in Palmyra’s (Tadmur) western countryside.
As a result of the ISIS withdrawal, the Syrian Arab Army’s 67th Brigade and their allies reentered the village of Al-Bayarat, attacking the terrorist group’s frontline defenses at the northern flank.

Currently, the Syrian Armed Forces and ISIS are deadlocked in a tug-of-war battle for control of the desert villages around Palmyra – the Syrian Arab Army is still 2 km outside of the ancient city, but they have made no serious attempt to advance past Ancient Quarries.

Battle for Sheikh Miskeen reaches critical stages
Over the last month and a half, the Syrian Arab Army’s 15th Brigade of the 5th Armored Division and the Free Syrian Army’s “Southern Front Brigades” have contented for the strategic city of Sheikh Miskeen in the Dara’a Governorate’s northern countryside, while the pro-government forces position themselves to reclaim the western part of the province.
On Wednesday morning, violent clashes broke-out between the warring factions in the city’s southern district, resulting in heavy casualties for all the parties involved in the battle.
The Syrian Arab Army’s 15th Brigade – backed by the National Defense Forces (NDF) and the 7th Mechanized Division – struck first inside of Sheikh Miskeen, pushing south towards the small portion of the southern district that the Islamist rebels of the Free Syrian Army and Jabhat Al-Nusra (Syrian Al-Qaeda group) still control in the city.
Despite the pressure from the Syrian Armed Forces, the Islamist rebels were able to maintain their ground against the encroaching enemy units and managed to repel the assault after several hours of fighting.
With the Syrian Armed Forces increasing the pressure on the Islamist rebels entrenched inside Sheikh Miskeen; this fight in northern Dara’a has become one of the most important battles in Syria.
For the Islamist rebels, losing Sheikh Miskeen could be devastating; especially, since their large gains inside of the Dara’a Governorate came after they seized the city and nearby Nawa.
Should the Syrian Armed Forces seize Sheikh Miskeen from the Islamist rebels, they will be in position to launch an important counter-offensive in western Dara’a to recapture the Al-Quneitra border.

Following Turkey’s deal to open a military base in Qatar, it is now on the cusps of securing a second base deal, this time in Somalia. The purpose of the Turkish military presence is allegedly to assist Somalia in its fight against the Al-Qaeda affiliated Al-Shabaab terrorist group.

And on the authority of Omar bin al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him): "The Messenger of God (SAWS) ordered us to give charity and that coincided with the time I had some wealth. So I said: 'Today I will outdo Abu Bakr, if ever I have outdone him.' So I came with half of my wealth, and so the Messenger of God (SAWS) said: 'What have you left for your family?' I said: 'The same amount.' And Abu Bakr came with all he had, so he said: 'Oh Abu Bakr, what have you left for your family?' He said: 'I have left for them God and His Messenger.' I said: 'By God, I can never outdo him in anything.'" (muttafiq alayhi).
So on account of the exceptional circumstances the Islamic State is facing, it has been decided to reduce the salaries that are paid to all mujahideen by half, and it is not allowed for anyone to be exempted from this decision, whatever his position. Let it be known that work will continue to distribute provisions twice every month as usual.

Security forces and local tribes have joined efforts to turn the small Iraqi town of Barwanah into an unassailable fortress, which has survived a 1.5-year siege by Islamic State. They have delivered huge losses to the jihadists.

Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) used over 300 vehicles, rigged with explosives, to crush the resistance of the Barwanah residents, but failed to succeed every time, Ali Farihat one of the local tribal leaders, told RT’s Arabic Channel.
“We’ve delivered them (IS) heavy losses in manpower and hardware. We’ve seized more than 50 cars and burned more than a hundred vehicles. We took some valuable weaponry from them,” Farihat said.
Barwanah is a small town which occupies an area of around three square kilometers, and most of its population is involved in agriculture.
People from the three local tribes had to abandon their farming tools and join the security forces in the fight against the terrorists.

Also, on the matter of prisoners, Ibn ‘Abbaas (companion of Mohammed) said "the Messenger of God commanded them to be kind to their prisoners, so they used to put them before themselves"
2- They kill innocent people but the Quran says:
""if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people.” (The Noble Quran, 5:32)”
3- They burn people alive, but Prophet Mohammed says:
"no one punishes with fire except the Lord of the Fire.”
And burning ants and bugs in Islam is extremely forbidden, so imagine how big of a sin burning humans is.
4- They killed Christians, but Prophet Mohammed made an oath to protect Christians in this letter he made:
"This is a message written by Muhammad ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, far and near, we are behind them. Verily, I defend them by myself, the servants, the helpers, and my followers, because Christians are my citizens; and by God! I hold out against anything that displeases them. No compulsion is to be on them. Neither are their judges to be changed from their jobs, nor their monks from their monasteries. No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims' houses. Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God's covenant and disobey His Prophet. Verily, they (Christians) are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate. No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight. The Muslims are to fight for them. If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, this is not to take place without her own wish. She is not to be prevented from going to her church to pray. Their churches are to be respected. They are neither to be prevented from repairing them nor the sacredness of their covenants. No one of the nation is to disobey this covenant till the Day of Judgment and the end of the world.”
He also said "Take well care of the copts (Christians).”
5- the Islamic State say they want to destroy the Kaaba in mecca. The Kaaba is the direction that Muslims prayed toward for over 1400 years. And prophets since the time of Abraham have respected. Why would a Muslim want to destroy it and Mecca? WTF? unsure emoticon
6- Prophet Mohammed warned about extremists like the Islamic State and referred to their sect as “Al Khawarij” as in those who exit.
