it ah, it depends on who you ask.
it's not so much about religion or mah SJW progressiveness as it is about the priorities of the state (socio-economic differences, THE negotiations, the cost of living, etc), the Israeli foreign policy (do we appease big bro America or give him the finger like bibi occasionally did), the other Israeli foreign policy (how hard do we fuck up the enemy(ies) and under what circumstances) and these kind of things.
of course, that is alongside propaganda like "the right wing are religious fuckwads that want ethnic cleansing of all Arabs and the transformation of Israel into a religious state" from the left and "the left wing are apologetic pansies that are willing split Jerusalem and would love it if Israel was called Palestine" from the right.
