If you're still here, Amazon is holding some event that will have lots of discounts, you might get it very cheap at that time:

Compromise is expected, as long as it fits the price I won't be sad about it, a smartphone isn't even my first priority now, as I have additional interests.
And if anyone is interested, I was reading this article that explained a bit about taxes that are applied to your online purchases:
http://www.timesofisrael.com/does-it-pay-to-shop-and-ship-to-israel/
>Now, customs taxes have been eliminated as of January 31 on purchases up to $325 or NIS 1,200, and all purchase taxes on purchases up to a $75 total. It’s important to note that the purchase tax is still levied on many items, including DVDs, CDs, answering machines and cellphones, while the customs tax is now eliminated from all those orders up to $325 — as long as the purchase is for personal use, and the cost of the entire transaction, NIS 1,200, includes shipping.
Don't know if that's still up to date (2012).
I think I will avoid buying smartphones online for now, still, but the thing with online shopping is that you can look for anything else you want.
