>>535Not "Yeshua", but "Yesh'u", it's abbreviation of the expression "let his name be forgotten", and it existed since the time of the first zugot (the first religious authorities that worked on religious law, their era is estimated ~200 BC - ~20 AD) and most probably had/has no connotation to Jesus, as, if He really had existed, had no vast influence on the Jews of these times (even Joseph did not write about Him, while he wrote many passages centered around John the Baptist). Also the second possibility is that He actually had influence, but it led many Jews astray from the proper Judaism, so sages treated Him as a heresiarch and agreed to not write about Him at all
