Well alrighty then.
In retrospect, this could've caused me some issues regarding holidays and stuff, so it's a good thing they considered me Jewish.

I has been wondering one thing for few years now. In, let's say, 2010, there was an orthodox Russian girl who had to be operated on in Israel 'cause the best neurological hospitals in the closest vincity. Ok, she was transferred there and then this thing happened:
some orthodox Jews had gathered info about her and found that she was ethnic Jewess. They came to her and said that she had to convert before surgery. She told them to fuck off, her religion is of no relevance for her health, so they made the hospital refuse her treatment unless she convert, she still refused and died because of that.
So few questions:
1. Who the fuck were they? Lubavitsch? Sha'as? Or other group?
2. How is that even possible to refuse the life-saving treatment because of refusal of teshuva? I thought that Israel was secular, also in health care facilities?
