Welcome to /j/! I claimed this board because it was inactive for two weeks and I wanted the name.

This board is for discussion of Japanese language and culture. Specifically it is for users who want to study and learn both aspects of Japanese society for their personal growth and enjoyment. This is meant to be a hub for Japanese culture and 'DJT' threads as they were called on halfchan /a/.

So there's almost no information anywhere on the internet about trying to acquire or emulate one of these babies as a foreigner. I've found the odd studies here and there praising its keystroke and handshift efficiency for typed Japanese and want to judge it myself. I live near New York. Anyone know more about these than I do?
