Greetings /japan/,

I have been watching various videos, and one of them is currently embedded.

I don't know how widespread the knowledge of the subject is but I guess it's better making sure it is than not doing anything.

tl;dw: You should watch it, but the subject is about Japan's change in economy in the last 50 years or so, and how different economical crisis was engineered for those changes to be made.

This is also related to TPP (not the game, the Trans-Pacific "Partnership") where one of the clauses was to allow any asset, land, company, even banks, to be bought by foreign investors. Hopefully you rejected it a few months ago, but they will come back.

With this economy change it's easier to crash it and devalue any assets so that practically all the country can be bought by an external company.

Now I'm not a specialist in economy, I dabble at it, but I've heard about a lot of different events talked in the video and also about the 'finance jackals' buying debts, etc, and since you can more easily read japanese than me, you could check for yourselves about those different points.

Some related subversion tactics can be seen here:

A general presentation of the tactics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gnpCqsXE8g

The same guy talking a bit more about his life and work, related to said subversion tactics https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3qkf3bajd4

I know the subject is heavy and all in english, but at least the main video has japanese subtitles.

I hope that you will spread the word, the more people know about it, the more you as a people can vote the right way, and with chances, some higher-up that can influence things in some way could help also.

I don't want Japan to become like Europe, or Sweden, and when/if I ever visit Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

 No.2604

Thanks for the video, it was really interesting to watch. I especially liked the bit about EU, since it is something that really concerns me as a European. What I don't get is why the central banks keep doing this?

Japan must have strong defensive capabilities to defend the people

>“As the only nation in the world to have suffered a war-time nuclear attack, I have renewed my resolve to play a leading role in pursuing a world without nuclear weapons and maintain the three non-nuclear principles,” Abe said during a ceremony at Nagasaki Peace Park.

>The “three non-nuclear principles” are Japan's long-standing policy of not possessing or producing nuclear arms and not letting others bring them into the country.

>Representatives from 75 countries, including U.S. Ambassador Caroline Kennedy, were among those gathered at the ceremony, where a representative of Nagasaki bomb survivors told the crowd that security legislation introduced by Abe's government goes against the wishes of the survivors and "will lead to war."

>"We cannot accept this," 86-year-old Sumiteru Taniguchi said, after describing in graphic detail his traumatic injuries and how others died in the Aug. 9, 1945, attack on Nagasaki.

>As a bell tolled, they observed a minute of silence at 11:02 a.m., the time when the a U.S. B-29 plane dropped the atomic bomb, killing more than 70,000 people and helping to prompt Japan's World War II surrender. The first atomic bomb in Hiroshima three days earlier killed an estimated 140,000.

>Japan's defense minister triggered a new disagreement over controversial security legislation on Wednesday when he said the bills under consideration by parliament would not rule out the military transporting the nuclear weapons of foreign forces.

>Abe's cabinet adopted a resolution last year reinterpreting the pacifist constitution, drafted by Americans after World War II, to let Japan exercise collective self-defense, or defend an ally under attack.

>The unpopular bills have already passed the lower house, and Abe's ruling bloc has a majority in the upper house as well. But surveys show a majority of voters are opposed to what would be a significant shift in Japan's defense policy.

some think sexualised lolis are fine, some think not. I guess enthusiasts for anime, manga, and sexual doujinshis would tend to be tolerant about it though, but general people could be offended by it.
unfortunately, to be honest I have no idea how many people can accept it.

Only this year was possession of legit child porn made illegal in Japan (I think there's a 1 year period to clear it from your possession).

 No.2570

I'm guessing it's the same way the average American thinks about violent video games. There are people for it, extremists against it, etc. When a shooting happens in America, the blame gets shifted to violent video games. When a sexual assault against a minor happens in Japan, the blame gets shifted to anime/lolita shit.

http://thefederalist.com/2015/07/10/boston-kimono-alarms-culture-crusaders/

The kimono replicas were commissioned by Japan's NHK for the purpose of letting foreigners try them on as part of getting them to know Japanese culture. The kimonos were made by Japanese kimono craftsmen. The idea to use kimonos to introduce Japanese culture overseas is is part of the Japanese government's "Cool Japan" project. http://www.meti.go.jp/policy/mono_info_service/mono/creative/

Japanese are not offended. Only non-Japanese Americans are claiming to be offended. Is it not them who are appropriating Japanese culture?

The people who criticise this event do not know that Japanese made the kimonos, they said things like this:

https://www.red*dit.com/r/asianamerican/comments/3ckl37/museum_of_fine_arts_backs_down_over_kimono_event/cswtbef

>White institutions make cheap imitations of a kimono to try on for fun to fuel their foreign fetishes

https://www.red*dit.com/r/asianamerican/comments/3ckl37/museum_of_fine_arts_backs_down_over_kimono_event/csx2veo

>The "Kimonos" in these pictures are copycats of the original in the picture (which is completely disrespectful to the artist and the original creator of the kimono), and it looks like a cheap fucking quilt made by someone's half blind grandmother.

These non-Japanese insult the kimonos made by Japanese, and appropriate Japan culture to use as a political tool. They are the real rPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Well another reason it cannot be true is that after the incident many people buyed geiger counters for checking the radiation themselfs. You can actually find many video's on youtube of it.

So as conclusion, there would had been a huge screaming if it really is dangerous to live and for people to go to Japan.

to lazy to search now but there are also many independent organisations which record test results of radiation progress for many areas.
