So you smoke marijuana, right? I'm not so surprised to hear that. In America they've changed the law, it's not illegal to smoke marijuana(they call it pot I think)in more than 20 states.
We have very strict law aginst marijuana or any sort of drug. I don't think they're going to change that.

Also about marijuana, it's not that I consume it regularly. I just think there's no reason to ban it, as it's less addicting and less dangerous than nicotin or alcohol, which are both allowed in our society. I saw people here are wondering if there's a limit of posts(text and image) per thread, so I sent an email to Hotwheels san regarding the topic.
Here's the reply from him.

”There is no limit. However, threads expire. The bump limit is 250 posts. After 250 posts, a thread can no longer be bumped anymore.

If a thread is stickied, however, it can get an infinite number of replies. This is quite annoying however, because big threads are slow to load in one’s browser. So, I recommend creating new threads after 250 posts.　Thanks for using 8chan!”

スレッドが上がるリミットは250投稿数です。　250を超えるとスレッドは上がりません。

もしスレッドが固定（ピン留め）されていれば、無制限に投稿できます。　けれどもスレッドが膨大になると重くなるので、読み込みに時間がかかるようになって煩わしくなってしまいます。　ですので、250を超えたら新しいスレッドを立てることをお勧めします。

Although I've heard the auther's name, I've never read his novel. I guess it was famous back then, not many people know about the novel and its consequences.
Apparently the short story was controversial, caused a big argument between those who wanted to protect freedom of speech and those who claimed it was an insult to the Emperor and the imperial family. It went so far, a 17yrs old right-wing boy killed the publisher's housemaid, stabbed the publisher's wife. The auther dissapeared after the incident, because he felt responsible for the tragedy. The novel has not been published for a long time, but you can read it now(e.g. Amazon kindle)

You can see how addicting a certain drug is and how much it can physically harm you. Most people try some of the yellow or orange-colored substances at some point during their life, and don't have any problems with it. Not saying I condone or despise this.

Sake is an alcoholic beverage, alcohol (well, ethanol in this case) is a drug. However it is of course completely legal to consume in almost any country. It does next to no harm if you don't consume too much of it.

My personal stance on the topic is that legislation makers should base laws more on scientific facts, and less on social norms.
