Hello /japan/
I was always interested in Japan and Japanese culture, I want to live in Japan, what's the best way to become a useful member of their society?
I've already been there a few times and I'm able to have basic conversations in Japanese, writing and reading however is still pretty hard for me.

I love Japan so much, I'm going to learn whatever I need to get a job there, do you guys have any idea what kind of jobs they have to offer for foreigners?

I'm from Germany if that matters, means my english is average at best.(if not terrible I don't know)
I'm currently working as power plant operator, but I guess it might be difficult to do that in japan, learning all these technical terms in Japanese would be hard.

I want to do this so bad, and I'll reach this goal how much work it might take I'll get there eventually.

first and foremost, you have to get a job and work to make a living in Japan,
Next up I think you should accept Japanese culture and tradition and pay respects to those. that's it for this.(or rather it didn't hit on me anymore)
anyway, if you had a job and a good manner, I think Japanese people would accept and welcome you to the society.

>do you guys have any idea what kind of jobs they have to offer for foreigners?

in my opinion, I think Japan should employ foreigners speaking their language(s) to cope with foreign tourists who are not so good at Japanese and foreigners who live or stay in Japan, such as at city office, post office, salesclerks and much more because the number of tourists who visit Japan for sightseeing has been increased rapidly in recent years.

providing that you have technical skills, technical knowledge or something, I guess you could make the best of your ability even if you are a foreigner. but I think you would need to have a conversation with each other in Japanese at least, not only in English. therefore I guess you have to learn technical terms in Japanese, if you want to achieve your goal as you are saying.

I'm sorry if this answer couldn't help you solve your problem.

Naturally I'm going to work, I couldn't imagine a live without working.

That's the most important part for me, I'll do everything to adapt to and your culture and manners.

I want to thank you anon, you helped me a lot.
If anything, your post encouraged me to work even harder!

Nice image.
The rocks in that garden are, in my opinion, essential to complete the scene.

Work hard towards your goal!
