Does it get confusing when you decide which board the thread fits better? On 4chan boards are not so specific, and still there topics and threads which are crossing over.

Also, we need more advertising for this board and 8ch.net, few people come there so far. Even with so few people it is still fun though.

Here is userscript extension for Firefox and Chrome browsers, makes UI neater and adds some features. I think you need to install Tampermonkey script manager for Chrome first though.

surely, I'm a 2ch user as you said, but I've never used the browsers dedicated to 2ch before, unlike most 2ch users. so I can't say for sure and I can't capture the screen.
I recommend you to ask that to other 2ch users on 8chan.

It's pretty similar to what we had with moot, but their admin (Hiroyuki Nishimura) was several magnitudes shittier. He sold all the posting information to third party bloggers so they can exploit it and push their agenda and get rich off of it. When people called him out on it, he doxxed them. Then Jim, legal owner of 2ch and it's servers kicked Hiroyuki out and assumed direct control. Hiroyuki then set up a complete copy of 2ch (that very 2ch.sc) and mirrored all the posts and continued selling them to third parties. Needless to say 2channers are pissed at him.

At least that is the situation as far as I understand it.

In addition to >>488 , As you expected, one of the cause is the conflict between part of 2ch users who hates affiliate blogs (they are called kenmou/嫌儲) and affiliate bloggers, continued from 2012. then, that is a reason why 2ch has been divided into 2ch.net and 2ch.se.

In the middle of March, 2014, 2ch.net revealed all contents on 2ch.net would be forbidden to reproduce to other sites against affiliate blogs. as opposed to this, one who calls oneself the former administrator of 2ch, Hiroyuki, appeared and he founded 2ch.se , claiming anyone is free to reproduce all contents on 2ch.se
(still, all posts on 2ch.se are brought from 2ch.net though)
2ch.se stands for the second 2channel.

in passing, besides 2ch.net and 2ch.se, the similar site called open2ch.net exists.
all contents on open2ch.net are free to use for anyone under Public Domain.
