Not gonna lie, your robot looks amazing.

I believe that's the idea. Maybe not even Olympic sport, but a whole new type of world championship, with different weight categories and mech types.

I think it is not so famous, but we have been holding a robot contest for 27 years annually, and the winner goes to Indonesia to fight with other winners from Asian nations recently. We are very peaceful, so the last year's task was "soba noodle delivery".

That's Boston Dynamics robots. The develop ground transport robots for US military, funded by DARPA, which is basically Army's science division of sorts. here's japanese wiki on them:

Thanks, I know that. I searched a MIT's robot but I couldn't find it. The robot had 6 legs, and its appearance resembled helmet crab. I know the DARPA, but I didn't know DARPA was small organization of 300 staffs.

This is a kondo-kagaku's 6 legs toy robot.

True, but that's not all that exciting. That's what Battlebots show was, essentially, if Roombas were remotely controlled.

Giant piloted robots fights have not been tried before, it's interesting how that will look like. Plus, it's just that much cooler.
