I think the rule should be to try to use Lojban for everything, but other languages should be allowed to help with learning. But I'm not in charge here.

Some "gotchas"...
1. since the xorlo reform, {lo ci gerku} no longer means "the 3 dogs in existance", just "3 dogs" - that is, {ci zo'e noi gerku}. {lo} tends to be a better default than {le} these days.
2. if you're stuck, {lo su'u} is always correct, while {lo nu} is only correct if you're talking about an event.
3. {cilta} is for a literal piece of thread or wire or whatever, not a forum thread - {se casnu} or the compound/lujvo form {selcasnu} means "discussion" which is more fitting.

In the standard grammar you need to use "la" for sumti made from cmevla. By the way for "trash" you can use "fesvau".

"tc" (is) neither a-grammatically-correct-letter nor a-grammatically-correct-proper-name. "tc" is-identical-to (two letters) as-well-as (the letters T (ty) followed by C (cy))
