I'm assuming that since the banner sticky image is I Am A Hero, stuff around that genre is horror. I'll dump my tops. Also not including any Ito, Urobutcher, or Urasawa.
Gakkou Gurashi - Cute girls doing trauma things, zombies
Apocalypse no Toride - Teenagers in a "No chance" scenario. Zombfags are OP.
Mahou Shoujou of the End - Another chanceless scenario. Lulz to be had
Berserk - fag
Terra Formars - Love the JOHJ. Cool future scenario, name is just a butchered "Terraformers."
Zekkyou Gakkyou - Bunch of short stories. If you're scared of these, you're probably in diapers.
Tokyo Ghoul - I shouldn't even have to name some of these
Zetman - Monsters and JUSTICE
Aku No Hana - Revolves around "Fleur du Mal" aka "Flowers of Evil" by a philosopher which states we all have evil within. Follows a boy.
Doubt - Mystery, murder, rabbits.
Franken Fran - It's more SoL of a psychopath who's a master surgeon. Still horror.
Freesia - Man goes cuckoo? Placed in a future where "retaliatory killings" are legal.
Fuan no Tane (+) - Only series that could have topped Ito in pure psychological horror. 2-10 page short stories placed in real life scenarios.
Gantz - If you're into shitty endings, I guess.
Hellsing - Action. You've heard of it.
Ibitsu - Neechan gone wrong.
Ichi the Killer - Flexible retard is killing people by kicking them in half while crying and ejaculating. 11/10
Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro - "It's Sherlock Holmes for sadists." - anon
Lying Mii-kun and Broken Maa-chan - Hard to describe without ruining anything. Shamlyanalan approved.
Other "Horror" manga - These are ones that have tags that say "Horror", but it's iffy.
Abnormal Kei-Joshi - There's killings in it
Akame Ga Kiru - Akama ga EDGE.
Another - I still can't finish it. Lots of mixed reviews.
Claymore - You've heard of it (I hope.)
Murcielago - Good anyway. Nice edgy lesbian MC.
Nickelodeon - Some stories, I guess. Good anyway. Glorious Dowman
Oukoku Game - game = Gaimu, might need to be moved to the top. Too soon to tell if it's soft or hard horror. Not a video game, real life scenario.
Sankarea - Kid figures out how to make zombies. Makes one two. One's a cat.
Shingeki no Kyojin - Attack on Grammar.
Voynich Hotel - Glorious Dowman.
Anorexia: Shikabane Hanako Kyoshokushou - Short read. Dey eat people. Can't remember if that's a spoiler or not, been a while.
Only horror Manhwa I can think of is American Ghost Jack.
Enjoy

Thanks for the post. Anything will help breathe life into this dead board. I'm not sure how anal to be about what counts as horror. Psychological Horror is okay, I guess, like Aku no Hana, and things like Berserk that deal with dark themes and have monsters that evoke body horror are okay too. I guess I'll just be super lenient unless people get bitchy about it.

Curious about some horror VNs if you got any special ones.

>>89Uhh, not too good with LNs. Loved the hell out of Saya no Uta, and have heard good things about Umineko no Naku Koro ni (mostly for the OST though), Subarashiki Hibi ~furensomethingsomething, and Kara no Shoujo.
Saya no Uta is a lovecraftian monster love story. It's also heavy petting.

>>92Thanks! Gonna try out Umineko as that has received quite a lot of praise.

>>89/v/ back on halfchan kept recommending me horror VNs and shit. Some of the ones I remember are Corpse Party, Gore Screaming Show, and (this one isn't really horror, but the ending is fucked in the head and subsequent playthroughs cause different outcomes due to fourth wall breaking, so I'll just say it counts as psychological horror) Kimi to Kanojo to Kanojo no Koi. Also Yume Nikki is fun, but less horror and more just weird. Some people find it scary. However, it isn't much of a game, really.

Updating a few that I'm just remembering.
Kuro - Story of a girl and her cat.
Saiteihen no Otoko - Stalker of Girl. Guy can find the infiltrating "species" by scent because he's a hentai.

Technically manhwa is from Korea - maybe there'll be a bit of leeway for other Asian horror, maybe not.
As for recs, there's a great short story called "The Human Chair" by Edogawa Rampo. I know Ito did an adaptation of it but I haven't read it.
It's in Rampo's "Japanese Tales of Mystery and Imagination" and, honestly, the rest were pretty dull.
It's Korean, but this is a nice short webcomic (which I think most people have read at this point).

I started reading Death Sweepers tonight. It's not quite horror, but it is dark and focuses on suicide, the aftermath of said suicides, and the body cleanup. It's nice and dark, and I'm really enjoying it.
