So I just finished part VI.

I thought Pucci's final stand couldn't affect living organisms: why the fuck are they all dead and now reborn? Why are Emporio and Pucci the only ones who survived the original timeline? If the stand doesn't affect the time of living organisms why isn't every living organism from the old universe now alive in this new universe? Why would creating this new universe make humanity omniscient? If Pucci already knew everything that was going to happen because of what the fuck ever why didn't he know Emporio had Weather Report's CD? Shouldn't Weather Report's CD have faded away since White Snake doesn't exist anymore? When a stand user is killed, aren't the effects of their stands undone? So why isn't the universe set back to normal? It seems like SOMETHING gets undone but all that really happens is that yet ANOTHER universe is created, which is somehow entirely separate from either the original universe and Pucci's universe? Is this the same universe that part VII takes place in? Because if that's the case I don't see why Jolyne would exist: Dio apparently never existed in this universe, only Diego, but since it was Dio's actions that basically caused the entirety of the Joestar bloodline to turn out how it did why should Jotaro and Jolyne have been born in the new timeline?

Pucci killed everyone in the gang, from FF to Jolyne
Emporio and Pucci survived the reset because MiH doesnt affect living organisms, it speeds up time up until a universal reset point and then starts a new timeline, people who didnt die at the end of the previous universe will be alive and retain their previous memories, different from the people who died who take new images and names
I think Pucci wanted to give people the knowledge of the future, knowing what will happen in the future would make people aware of whats coming and act accordingly, if tomorrow rains you would take an umbrella, if tomorrow there was an earthquake you could mobilize people to safety much more efficiently. At least I think he wanted that, he was an idiot that killed everyone and fucked the timeline for everybody
I dont know, maybe Pucci overlooked Domenico using Whitesnake to extract his own Stand CD, thats why it could have gone unnoticed and I think Whitesnake Cd thing was permanent, i think. Same thing with the universe, why reset it if it wasnt permanent? its a permanent thing
Remember that Emporio got thrown into the Irene universe which is set in 2011 while SBR universe is set in another universe set in 1890. Remember that everyone that died takes another role in the new universe, they change names, appearances and backgrounds
Again, thats my take on the whole Part VI ending and final chapters, it might as well have been all part of an Araki asspull or convenience to make the jump to another universe so you can create something new without having to tie it to the previous parts.
Also, just go along with it, you dont see anyone trying to rationalize people turning into snails.
