Aww shit, nah, the support characters were awesome and the camaraderie feeling about it was nice.

Part 6 and part 1 are the lowest arcs in my tier. They were a bit boring and I even fell asleep reading a chapter of P6. There was also a lot of wasted potential character development and stuff left unanswered.

OP here. I think it was just giorno I didn't like. The support characters and the ending fight were the only good things for me.

Honestly, the support characters were good, but Giorno wasn't cutting it for me, more of the villains are completely forgettable, and that ending had too strong of a Deus Ex for my tastes (Which says something when every JoJo ending has a Deus Ex). Honestly, I still can't tell which arc I enjoyed least between this and 1.

It's better than Crusaders. that Arc just dragged on forever because it didn't even have a plot once they decide to go for Dio.

The heroes just keep walking towards Cairo and Dio just keep donating more and more minions to the Ora grinder. Giorno is pretty lame ues, but Jotaro has most of his problems and doesn't come with as great of a support cast.

There were actual shifts in the plot and the viallin actually went around doing shit as opposed to just waiting in his mansion doing nothing till the heroes got there.

It's not terrible. It's just not up to the high standards of the other parts. It lacked direction and turned into a pale imitation of part 3 after having an interesting set-up. And of course, the best character it had gets written out because Araki wrote himself into a corner.

The main problem with five is that Giorno is overshadowed by Buccellati who felt more like the real protagonist and the rest of the party.

I thought the same when first reading it, but in retrospect, it was actually pretty good, I honestly think the only reason people don't like it is because of Giorno, who was pretty much asspull the character, not really fleshed out, blander than Jotaro, and was just all around a pretty bad Jojo; all the other characters, pacing, areas, etc was awesome, and you can argue that the plot went off rails, but I think this stems again to Giorno, and Araki wanting him to be the center of attention
