Tree of Savior CBT is starting on Oct. 27th /jp/. It's the spiritual successor to Ragnarok Online for those who haven't heard of it, and seems to be keeping to the classic MMO vibe that RO had.
The guild system is disabled during CBT, but I was thinking of starting one for 8/jp/ players since I plan on playing the game long term. Would any of you be interested in playing the game together?

This reminds me I need to set up a basic framework as far as the guild goes. Nothing overzelous of course, with taking it easy as the overall guiding principal, but basic shit like keeping what you mentioned to a minimum/reasonable level in guild chat. Main thing I want to avoid is ERP circlejerks alienating those who just want to enjoy the game and keeping things to where everyone is able to enjoy themselves together with as little to no intervention on my part.
Ill write out what Ive got in plan when I get home and have time either today or tommrow but again, Ive got no intention of making a stupid amount of rules. Guild is largely going to be what we make it, much like this board itself.

I know. The guild system probably wont be implemented until full release, which is who knows when (early next year?). There's next to no info available on Templar either from what I've looked into. Reason I'm bringing it up now is just to get people thinking about it and to get input. That and the fact that it's something I'm looking forward to it.
Guild or not though, I'm sure just making random parties with whoever is on at the time will be fun too.

I've got no intention on "policing" what people say in chat, nor do I have the desire to. But as I said, overdoing the cute posting in guild chat just tends to annoy and alienate players who just wish to enjoy the game and speak normally with people.
I think what people are worried about is the overly obnoxious, attentionfag levels of cuteposting/rp talk like you would see on a /vg/ mmo thread. I've seen for myself how bad things can get in a guild when that sort of crowd gathers within a guild, but there's something you have to keep in mind with that as well.
The user base here is what will make up the guild, not /vg/ or cancerous /a/ faggots which are normally the source of what I mentioned. 8/jp/ is small, just as im sure the guild will be, and with that in mind, I really don't think things will get to that level.
TL;DR
Don't act like a obnoxious crossboarder and take it easy. Once the guild is actually formed, I doubt there will be much of, if any issues.
