No, I went there but I failed one of the tests because I had been training for endurance and strength and had assumed that would help me in the Luc leger(French version of the beep test) but it did not. They said that I can come back in at least a month but I will wait for the next Autumn over there until I head back, I need to make sure I am fully prepared and I don't want to have to do basic training in the summer.

Common sense for training up endurance includes alternating distance running with short sprint days to develop endurance and fast twitch muscles. Do you have people you can train with? Besides just doing a straight Luc Leger for training you can also work on your sprints by doing indian runs. If you want to break up the monotony of training and also work your upper body you can incorporate dirty dozens which will require you to use your short stop at the end of a lap to an increasing number of push ups starting from one. This is great in that it builds up lactic acid in your muscles and stresses your body even more during the sprint sections.
