How do people manage to watch it so much? I don't think I watched more than 20 animes and those I did are counted as meme ones anyways.

I wanted to pick it up again and watch one or 2 series per season but we're half-way into the season and I've only watched 1 episode of OPM. I always had to motivate myself to watch anime, but when I do I enjoy it most of the time. Hajime no Ippo was the last one I really liked.

I prefer manga, books, VN, eroge and love sims.

I never really got in to VNs or Manga, I watch some anime but not too much, so much of it just seems to be too generic now, most of it is about school girls or schools in general which I always hated anime about. So I am watching Gintama, One punch man and Heavy object now.

When watching anime I'm not getting enough input, it's too bad. Clicking through the Internet or listening to music I'm getting constantly stimulated, there's always some new content and memo to check, evaluate, then move on. I tried watching anime on 4x speed and even then it's bad. You could extract all still frames from any episode and fill one screen with them. The dialogue would fill less than 1/4 page in Word. And it's not like there are attempts to build up mood or something. The Internet desentesized me too much to endure 25 minutes.

Manga, Vns and LNs in order. I will watch the odd anime but I try not to.

In fact, if a something gets animated, depending on the severity I will drop it just because of how shit the community will become after it starts airing.

I dont know why anyone would care about the "community" of something enough to drop it like that. If I really want to discuss something I read or watched or whatever I just dont go to shit places and I'm good.

I enjoy taking about what i read with others but suddenly there becomes an obnoxious crowd that hates "spoilers" only because they stay so far behind in the plot because they only watch the anime. I mean, its a different story for untranslated works since I understand not everyone can read nip but otherwise it's just a pain. If it's a series I really like I won't drop it however.

I get you, but it usually blows over after a while, you just have to wait for the series to stop airing. I dont run into that stuff usually because I like to watch or read things AFTER they have been completed, and like to watch/read a lot of older stuff.

I have around ~500 watched stuff but I feel myself enjoying VNs more so rarely watch anime anymore.
