What anki deck do you use, /jp/? I use the JLPT N5 vocabulary deck, from near the top of the popularity list, but I feel like I should probably get a different one.

Also, do your reps.

 No.22449

I del'd them all. I have barely any life force to make 50 daily so n hundred a day was an insanity.

Y'could just slow down, couldn't you? Better to keep doing them at a slowed pace than to just stop, right?

 No.22453

I didn't say I stopped, I just like to take it easy, very easy. I have 6 custom decks, with almost 1000 cards overally. Nothing is better than doing 30-50 of them before sleep.

How do you make your own?

or, what im really asking is, would it be a sane idea for me to try and make my own as someone basically starting from square one? Maybe make one to go along with a textbook. I have this thing sitting on my shelf.

just stop learning while you are ahead, you'll thank me later

never, thats what I did last time and now I only regret it

>How do you make your own?

That's one of the three options in the bottom of main menu, between "Get Shared" and "Import File". Have you never noticed that?

 No.22467

>>22465

No, but I did assume making a deck was an option somewhere, coulda found it easily. The point was basically to ask, "is making your own deck known to be a bad idea for someone starting out" or "is there any big important special thing one should known to do, or is it just as simple as making cards from something"

Probably worded poorly for asking that.

I wanna take N3 in summer but I'm constantly putting off learning. I'll start again tomorrow/

Did you seriously bother to type everything again instead of copypasting?

It was only eight words.

What do you use to study besides anki, jaypee? Im gonna start on my PDF of genki soon, but I think Ill have to get some special program to do any workstuff in it.

Tae kims guide seems pretty cool, too.

"eroge everyday" was better advice than all the structured learning stuff they try too push now a days. If you want to learn Japanese then use it.

 No.22977

I use core6k. But I haven't been doing it in a while so I have almost 1000 reps due now.

I'll do them tomorrow.

 No.22993

>>22502

good luck my man

 No.23067

I feel like I should make a deck that shows you a kanji(no kana, so you have to learn the kanji), then the answer side shows you the kanji+the kana pronunciation and a picture of the thing, but never any english.

This deck would only be used for concepts you could easily learn without using your native language, things you could find very unambiguous stock photos or clip art for. (電車、電気、おっぱい、猫、お弁当, etc.)

Then maybe a picture + english translation for more abstract or hard to map ideas, conjugated verbs, etc.
