What game(s) are you waiting for? How far into development is it? Is it turning out to be shit?

I sure hope it's not Mighty No. 2

Personally, I'm waiting on Tree of Savior and MGSV. The former is looking alright and fairly polished from the streams I've been watching (despite supposedly being several patches behind the Korean version) and I'm only slightly worried about microtransactions in MGSV. Hopefully it'll be a good last hoorah for Kojima as he moves on to other things.

I also supported Combat Core on Kikestarter and it's shaping up to be an okay Power Stone clone. My only criticism (having not played it yet) is lack of environmental activity and/or destruction. I'm also being cautiously optimistic about Bloodstained and crossing my fingers that it doesn't end up being a scam like it was with Inafune.

I really hope Nigoro doesn't fuck up La-Mulana 2 with bad keyboard setup in the same way they did with the remake of the first game. Played the demo last year and I saw that they had. So I'm still looking forward to the game but I won't get my hopes up too much to have them dashed away.

Factorio has been in development for a couple years now.

I'm glad to hear that the developers let their projected Summer 2015 "full version" release slip and still have plans for expanding the game. This means there's still hope that the game will get a more meaty set of goals in free-play mode and a real campaign mode. I'm most excited at the prospect of them turning versus multiplayer mode into a sort of really large-scale management-based RTS because it's something I don't think has ever been done before. Just imagine an RTS where you physically construct your own army from raw materials and then automate the process.

That actually sounds pretty cool. If I were more autistic I might give it a shot but, sadly, I know those just aren't my types of games.

SF5 has pleasantly surprised me. Capcom has pleasantly surprised me. They're making SF:V go back to the series roots and take a lot of cues from SFII:Super Turbo and Alpha 2. Both of my main SF games which I highly enjoy along with making each character as unique as possible. I played a bit of SF5 at my local tourney scene and I really enjoyed it a lot. I enjoy it as much as my main two games. I liked SF IV but it had felt like a sluggier version of SF II:ST with necessary gimmicks.

1-frame links I didn't have any problem with. Ultra combos gave you a free Ultra if you just focus absorbed your opponents attacks. Focus attacks were ok IMO. Though the input leniency should be stricter than SF4.

The fact that they're making DLC characters unlockable in the game as well is really surprising though I'll remain cautious. It seems the damage Inafune did to Capcom has nearly faded away. DMC4:SE also sold very well, so well that it outsold most of their mobile games and Itsuno said that if the game does well then he'll get a team to direct DMC5. They're also announcing a RE2:Remake with the same treatment RE1.

I am also looking forward to Tree of Saviour though the only thing I am cautious about is the casuals in the forums which will end up ruining the game.

Also, here's an infographic which explains what damage Inafune did. An OP in this thread on /v/ did a great amount of digging and discovered how much of a fraud he is along with explaining why Capcom did a lot of retarded decisions:

This guy was an absolute dumbfuck for trying to hold Mega Man X9 hostage via a shitty 3D remake for the fucking PSP of all things.

>mfw Tree of Savior beta

Good thing MGSV is coming out first or I might not play it for a long time.
